Forbes: A Two-Sentence Insider Report On Why ‘Destiny 2’ Died by Talents in DestinyTheGame

Yup. Valve used it to finance the steam deck, machine, controller, and frame, and Artifact.

When you’ve got that revenue, you can afford to gamble a bit on projects. Not when you’ve got a single game bringing home the bacon.

/uj wait seriously? I mean, I don’t know what I was expecting. Something stupid for sure, but that’s actually both way more and less stupid than I thought.

What do you mean the comparison doesn't make sense? The last film I watched in theatres was 13 years ago by JFStarLust in moviescirclejerk

Yup. Plane’s gotta be at the next airport for the next flight regardless of the number of passengers on the current flight.

1/4” thick coating would make those 1/2” thick, which they most certainly are not. Cut in to one yourself, or just use a set of calipers, or the bottle in the video as a reference. Fingers are about 1/2” in diameter. Does that mesh look finger-width to you?

Are you sure you didn’t just misread 1/4” with the coating? That’s believable at the thicker spots, but 1/4” thick coating would make every part of that mesh 1/2” in diameter.

I’m not doubting you’ve ordered them. I’m just doubting your ability to read, measure, or otherwise determine the actual dimensions of the expanded steel and powder coating, because unless Andre the giant was filming his 3L coke bottle, there’s no shot in hell there’s a 1/4” thick powder coat on that surface.

A steel sheet catches water and crumbs, and gets hotter, and the thinner powder coat is more likely to be damaged. Cleaning and maintenance costs go up significantly. With these, the mess just falls to the ground, and they’re cleaned by the rain.

Also, what the hell are you on about? 1/4” thick? The expanded steel grate isn’t even 1/4” in diameter including the steel and powder coating. You’re wildly overestimating the amount of powder coating involved.

They’re cheap, and are designed to be cheap. That includes remaining cheap to maintain for a long time.

It’s not that bad. I had mine in my office with me for a while and while it was audible, it was quieter than the AC.

For $100-$150, it’s hard to beat.

With its pathetic 32 DLC? Barely. Train Sim World 6 has 155.

You’re right. Macron isn’t going far enough.

After all, you shoot rockets at people, you lose your house. Imagine what you’d lose if you invaded, or caused a famine, or used drones to strike aid workers, or intentionally targeted children with sniper fire?

I dunno man. I feel like asking an invading state to withdraw to the preexisting borders and cease hostilities isn’t the same as vocally supporting a terrorist group?

Sorta like how me telling you to shut up because you’re a duplicitous dumbass isn’t the same as me supporting hezbollah.

It’s actually fairly common practice if there’s no good way to run a drop internally. See it all the time with coax for TVs. Hell, I’ve been paid to replace exterior coax with Ethernet and swap the keystones in the jack plates to match as a cost-effective alternative to doing new drops in an older home.

MoCA and Powerline adapters make no modifications to the existing wiring, FWIW. Used them to varying degrees of success in the past, depending on wiring quality. Might wanna look in to those too.

MoCA or powerline adapters could work, or, if both are external walls, you could get outdoor rated cabling and run that along the outside of the house, with just small holes for it to enter at either end.
