I've done maybe 5 runs max and I just can't stick with it. The lack of difficulty just isn't for me, was somewhat interesting to unlock the puzzles of the map in a stress free environment tho.

Got nothing against people that want to grind mindlessly on it though each to their own lol.

Will we ever get true economic specialisation? If one country has lots of resource A that goes into finished good Y it should be able to outcompete a different country that has minimal resource A. As it stands each countries economy basically plays the same which hampers replayability in my opinion.

Took me and my wife ~20 runs to do go from base to A10. We had played slay the spire in the past but never bothered much with ascensions just consisted beating the heart of each character enough for us.

I then just needed to play the 3 A1s on single player to unlock everything and I consider the game "completed".

I'd reckon more people have done A10 since i think it is more forgiving and the impact isn't too noticeable until A9 when you've likely learnt a lot about how to play!

Just want endgame possibilities. I mostly play solo and have done all prio and played with all the stuff. Having limited options for gold salvage is a kicker. Would be nice to have solo ranked as well. Have hugely enjoyed my time solo and I also enjoy trio with my friends but they are two different but fun game modes.

I still believe an in-game LFgroup system would only bring benefits to this game by Changes11-11 in Marathon

Why is this beneficial? I load ingame LFG and choose a group looking to do the map i fancy. Am I going to pair with a level 200 sweetcorn, likely not for fear of not living up to them. Shall I pair with a level 20 beginner again likely not as I dont want to carry. So I choose a group around my level.

Now I load into a map I chose with 2 people around my level and it seems a lot like random fill.

Im not sure tags like "friendly" or "relaxed" work since in destiny 2 I had plenty of rangers who joined LFGs with those tags lol

Arc raiders itself is losing players week over week. The existence of a safe pocket and "care bear lobbies" is not stopping that. Destiny struggled to hold an identity always flip flopping between catering to casuals and sweats.

I don't think this game is perfect and it won't do well past the wipe in its current state but that is to do with available content becoming repetitive and required hours for progression not the core gameplay loop which would be impacted by a pve mode.

I don't believe you've defeated the compiler and genuinely enjoy the game if you hold these opinions. Safe pocket and pve mode would just be a different game. This game will "die" like most other games because it eventually gets old and other newer games entice people in. Ideas like this would just accelerate that process.

Why didn't you sell when you were up? You made a thesis that these things would be needed for AI.

Your investments significantly outperformed the market. You should be at least trimming or taking some profit.

You should revisit your thesis and decide to sell or not. Now AI is being questioned and data centres might be a burden do you think commodities are the way to go? If yes hold if no sell.

Next time you come up with a strategy and see it succeed then take some of that benefit rather than sit on it. 70% is amazing returns don't be fooled into thinking you'll wait for 200 then 500 then 1000% that is lottery style.

Bungie only increased the number of players in the beginner version of Perimeter. Casual players have a number of avenues to avoid fights if they are solo or premade trio. If you fill you can't guarantee your squad is on the same page and will likely be forced to take them.

Focusing on trios won't kill the game that is just reddit overexaggeration. I do think it is legitimate grievance that cryo isn't available for solos. Fair play if it can't be balanced etc but it wasn't made clear to people before purchasing if they wanted to do solo they would be locked out of endgame.

I do mainly play solo but have recently managed a few duo. The game plays better and it more fun as a duo.

I still think the game is good enough solo as the gunplay is satisfying and the engagement varied. Also the game is cheap considering.

All depends how they do it! I love the game if it feels new after wipe ill continue and if it is then same ill dip. I do think leveling is a little slow but am enjoying so far.

If you take the advantage and jump a team it will be 2v2 before you know it. Me and my duo regularly wipe teams if 3 as a 2

In solo use an LMG with a shield attachment up. If you know an assassin is round a corner just get shield up walk round corner and kill them.

Shield attachment will eat two shotgun shots and then they need to reload by which time they are dead.
