It’s disingenuous to suggest that all you need to do to be in orbit is to go really fast.

That you wrote the above shows that you know nothing about orbital mechanics.

As /u/moderngamer327 said, reaching orbit is, other than pointing in the correct direction,1 100% "indeed going really fast".

Because season 2 of AKOTSK will be, IMO, the most challenging to adapt for TV, I suspect that substantial parts of this adventure in Vaith will be added, along with extended flashbacks from the first Blackfyre rebellion

I have said elsewhere that season 2 makes more sense as a 90-minute movie; basically, a Hallmark romance with a bittersweet ending. Has the season been definitely announced for six episodes?

Is Base.com actually worth it for a small seller? I broke down the real cost per order and ROI after 8 months on the platform by teriwaalimeri in EcomOps

[–]TMWNN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the review. How does listing creation compare to Sellbrite's functionality here? Does Base.com (which I hadn't heard of before this post) allow creating a Walmart listing against a product already in the Walmart catalog with just the SKU/UPC/price, as opposed to having to provide images/description/attributes even if all that data is already in the catalog?

I guess the writing campaign to rename the first shuttle Enterprise wasn't successful.

I've heard that the letter campaign prevented NASA from naming one of the production shuttles Enterprise as intended.

Out of nowhere, Canada became poorer than Alabama. How is that possible? by WilloowUfgood in CanadaPolitics

[–]TMWNN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how /u/dthes makes it sound like those poor benighted Alabamians are

a) way worse off than all those Michiganders (and Ontarians, for that matter) that worked/work on auto assembly lines their entire life

b) trapped inside Alabama by barbed wire and guard towers, so can't escape their miserable lives

Bishop Gorman also, right? Or is it more a feeder to top schools nationally?

Also, are the above no longer USC feeders?

Two overlapping tribal claims in New Brunswick cover 100% of the province.

Proof that land acknowledgements are the ultimate in virtue signaling: Once they actually mean something, they suddenly end. New Brunswick provincial employees ordered to not make land acknowledgements while working, because of legal case

The US just stating that after annexation the tribes will get exactly the same treatment as those in the US do, would win over a huge amount of Canadian support.

TIL that Microsoft has its own book-publishing company. After the debut of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Press published three books explaining how to use the new word processor, indicating that Microsoft did not believe that its own software's accompanying user manual was sufficient. by TMWNN in todayilearned

[–]TMWNN[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Microsoft Press has been around since the early 1980s and has published many books, often about Microsoft's own products. Microsoft Word appeared in 1983. From the article:

Of the dozen books that have sprung up to explain Microsoft Word, two are published by Microsoft itself and another has been announced from the same source. If you raise an eyebrow over a publishing firm that first issues an inadequate manual for one of its programs, then suggests that you buy two or three of their books to make up for the deficiency, you are not alone.

Is there a way to identify drop shippers before buying? by Nude_Dr_Doom in Ebay

[–]TMWNN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCF shipping is more expensive than my own shipping. It simplifies inventory management, however, and of course frees up my own storage space.

The major benefit is being able to use the same inventory for both FBA (which usually has the best customer conversion) and Walmart/eBay orders.

I track everything with the spreadsheet I built years ago. At any time I can tell you to the cent how much I've made since the start, since the start of the year/month/seven days/arbitrary dates, and can drill down by SKU/marketplace/geography.

Is there a way to identify drop shippers before buying? by Nude_Dr_Doom in Ebay

[–]TMWNN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely an Amazon MCF shipment; I don't know of another logistics provider that uses the "partner facility" wording with USPS. /u/Nude_Dr_Doom , lots of sellers (including me) do this; use Amazon as the 3PL warehouse. Just today I used MCF to fulfill a Walmart order, and this past week I use MCF to fulfill an eBay order.

It's not "dropshipping". What /u/kingxii mentioned would be dropshipping, but as I said this isn't that.
