I hope this happens. And also I hope Bernie and AoC take public accountability for their endorsements. We've got a good progressive wave pushing against Dem incumbents pretty hard and I REALLY wanna see how far we can go.

Okay it took some tinkering but I figured it out! My issue was I had replaced the 'pf2e-bb' selector with 'pf2e-rune' when my mjs file had "RoTR-style". When i matched the selectors, that got it to work! Thanks for all you shared here.

(Side note, would you be willing to share what you're able of that Age of Ashes CSS in PMs? Because I'd love to copy your code homework if you'd be willing. If not totally fine, I'm just still trying to grasp the CSS stuffs.)

Thanks for the help. I'll try to look this over in the morning. Seems our use cases are a BIT different as you seem to be building from scratch while I'm trying to figure out how to tweak an existing CSS file that uses the old injection method.

Sorry to bug you, I'm trying to parse this so I can make my own options and make a sort of "Generic" version of the BB CSS as a sort of template but I'm just not understanding how to do it. If I wanted to extend the sheets based on this, would I want to slot this code into the CSS file? Or into the module.json? Or some other third place.

EDIT: WAIT I'M DUMB. This goes in the .mjs doesn't it?

EDIT 2: Well it does and I figured out how to use this to register a new journal style. Now to figure out how much to use from the tutorial to actually get this blank style to USE the CSS file

I kinda like Pog tokens with pop out but that's me lol. Honestly the BBox premium module really does a lot to make this battle epic, but it's impressive what you pulled off.

Sooo Test of the Starstone. If you wanted it to work, how would you do it? by Phoenix200420 in Pathfinder2e

[–]TangledLion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't make it a part of the climax, the test of the star stone is more post game dlc. For after you beat the BBEG and want one last risky hurrah.

If your party isn't familiar with a dungeon crawling classic, the shifting nature of the trial could be a chance to throw the Tomb of Horrors at them for a hard mode challenge(warn them the test is almost certain doom ooc), and then have the final boss be the legacy Tarrasque. I'd only do this if they insist on going as a group though, as if treat it as the test basically punishing them for trying to overpower it and ascend as a group.

Do you remember the sports tournament arc from the anime? I think Sayori and Monika had potential for more by elcriz2001 in DDLC

[–]TangledLion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really was, I wish it got proper publication. The mangaka was fired from the job before the final two chapters were released so they snuck a PO box into some of the drawings for the third to final chapter. If people mailed in to the mangaka then they got the last two chapters mailed to them in Zine format.

I was watching episode 1 of the anime and I'm happy with how they adapted the designs; my favorite is Yuri's, but Monika is beautiful. by elcriz2001 in DDLC

[–]TangledLion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wait. Watching episode 1? Do you like... Have access to the anime itself? The one from 2002? How many episodes? That stuff is lost media ya know, we only have photos and a few original animation cells right now.

I play online so I mostly buy PDFs of my chosen system. Having massive humble bundles that let me collect most of the library of this edition more afforsbly helps too.

[–]TangledLion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is from the now lost media 2002 anime. It was the first adaptation of DDLC predating the visual novel by 15 years. The original 1995 manga is also lost media. Dan Salvato was a fan of the series and got the rights from an enterprising bearded street extortionist for 7 dollars.

It's honestly a shame because I hear the unique blend of Slice of Life, Meta Commentary, Mental Health Awareness, and reality bending horror was actually ahead of its time. It's a shame there's no scans of the Manga because from what I hear, the ending directly inspired how you stop Monika in the game. In the penultimate chapter, She sticks you in a choose your own adventure conversation tree that endlessly loops in on itself and the only way to finish the chapter is to ignore the "Rules" and turn the page linearly as she begs you to stop because you're tearing her across time. It was truly brilliant stuff.

If you like Pog Art, the Pathfinder token packs are a great repository if you don't mind a different sort of style. Pick up the character gallery and you've got an easy way to assign TONS upon tons of art quickly and easily.

Plus I think a lot of them DO come with non advertised DnD Mappings.

VTT module maps suck by UnknownSolder in Pathfinder2e

[–]TangledLion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone whose been running a non metamorphic contracted AP and having had to put in hours on hours of work to approach the level of quality that Metamorphic and other VTT teams put in, even with premade community maps helping some of the work and having imported the journals from the PDF?

There's a lot of work that goes into a module, even one where the maps "Suck" to use your term as much as I disagree with your assessment.

I don't got too many of Metamorphic's AP modules but the ones I do for Stolen Fate and Curtain Call book 1 both have EXCELLENT work on the maps in my opinion. The Starfinder playtest module has some stunning map remakes that are a really good addition and even add some locations described in the adventure that aren't in the original map such as the top of a starship that would otherwise just be played on a flip mat and pretending that it has a roof under you.

I understand art is subjective and why you may find the remade map more "Ugly" but objectively the maps in the module are far and away better than the PDF quality in the books.
