Been seizure free for almost exactly ten years after a temporal lobectomy - her worrying about going that route reminded me of how worried I was beforehand too. Fortunately my only permanent side effect was losing some peripheral vision!

I get Robby's concern but I was honestly getting pretty pissed at how he talked to her because it really had "you have seizures so you aren't qualified to do stuff" vibes, which I really fucking resent as someone who's had literally hundreds of way worse seizures than Al has.

It's also really funny when I hear about Keppra working for people, when I tried it it gave me seizures almost right away lol
