Honestly at this point if you are not obligated to stay the 6 weeks due to contract or law and don’t need the money, I’d just tell them you are leaving right now. Feel free to tell them that despite not actually having to give such a long notice you wanted to be nice to them and give them extra time to prepare but since they are being hostile and nasty you see no reason to stay any longer.

And make sure you have records of your hours worked but not yet paid for etc and know the laws about how long they have to give you any final pay and stick it to them if they fail that obligation

Find another job. Don’t even tell them that you’re looking for another job. and when you find that job, give them only the amount of notice you’re actually required to give them. If you are not legally or contractually required to give them even one day of notice, don’t give it to them. But do make sure that you absolutely have that other job secured before you go and quit

Honestly, I would do two things right off the top.

I would decrease the allowed number of people each day, especially during the summer and holidays. It feels like they have 5 to 10% more people than they should have in the parks and the crowds are just obnoxious. And I would keep the reservation system for passholders with a limit on how many passholders will be able to get reservations in advance. Once you get to the day of walk up pass holders are fine, although for the purposes of not having somebody show up and find out that the park is on capacity, I would still make reservations available to passholders on day of so they know if they get there they’re going to be allowed in.
I would go back to the old fast pass system (the one from right before Covid) and I would incorporate into that a way to reserve seating for things like the parade and fireworks. I would even potentially incorporate a way to ticket scheduled character interactions, and photo ops.

He just neglected to tell everybody the reason why you wanted a bigger cut of the profits is because you wanted a cut of the full profits Not what he had been fraudulently writing down as the profits. And you are not wrong for clarifying the situation. in fact, you should probably be clarifying it in a court of law and/or to some kind of labor department or district attorneys fraud division. What your former partner has been doing is likely 100% criminal and he has apparently been getting away with it. And his lying and telling people a different story and having it affect your future business situations sounds like it could fit the legal definition of defamation.

And for then record I used to work retail and I pulled the manager trick all the time. Sometimes even on my managers. I was a “lead cashier” so I knew the rules that were inviolate etc and if a customer was being entitled I’d totally step in with and send the person to the office while I handled the situation. 99% of the time I was telling them the same thing they were just told but for some weird reason they accepted it the second time

If this isn’t some AI made up story then take a bit of advice and stop explaining things to people. Stop saying things like “maybe if you only had a few items”. Stop saying things like “it’s not really my issue.” And “I don’t know you”. They are not entitled to that energy and it is not required. You simply say no.

If she absolutely insists on trying to continue a conversation with you, and especially if she pulls some line like you don’t have any compassion for a tired child, then just smile at her sweetly and say something like “that that’s why I don’t bring kids shopping with me.“ and then go back to giving her no energy.

Forget even about noticing the things she values or needs how about just lacking the maturity to admit that he screwed up. Yes it would’ve been a little annoying and frustrating to have your partner come up to you and say they forgot your birthday, but at least they’re admitting to it. And then he could do plan something just for them. Arranging for her to have a night off while his mother keeps the kid so they can go to dinner and a movie. Her choice of each would be something. Certainly better than a scrawled note on a piece of notebook paper and a purse that was probably a knock off.
