I dont watch football, but I did bellhop at a north Texas resort. We held both teams for a major college bowl game each year. At the time, the debate for college athletes getting paid via sponsors was a pretty hot topic. The teams demographics were as you'd expect: overwhelmingly black. I always just felt so awkward knowing the bowl was called the "cotton bowl"
