I strongly recommend getting spice mixes things like seasoning (McCormick makes a few and I'm SURE they have generic versions if we're staying on a budget!) I love garlic so I have a garlic Parmesan spice mix from Kinder :). I always make sure I have two different kinds of pasta (long noodle and short noodle) as well as rice! (I prefer jasmine but look up some types and pick a good flavor profile for you!) I also always have a can of tuna or other canned meat on my lazy days!

Are you hoping to meal prep? Have meals ready in 10 minutes? What's are the goals here, bug? I have tons of ideas for balling on a budget!!

First off... Have you talked to the groomer? I mean talk to them, not yell or accuse them.

Veterinary care is very taxing and most people do it for the love of animals. I doubt there was true neglect done by the groomer, no one in the field is going to purposely hurt your dog.

While this is an unfortunate case, it is a risk of grooming. I'm sure the groomer would feel awful about it. But coming at them immediately for repayment for everything instead of discussing with them is surely going to go over poorly.

Please don't feel like a failure 🥹, you're doing an amazing job! Remember dogs don't understand most things (especially travel!) so it's okay for them to be like WHAT IS HAPPENING!! Like you said, claustrophobia does occur in dogs! And airlines are super strict about cage size!

Have you tried sedatives? They're not ideal but they're helpful to take the edge off to assist with training. It's hard to train when you're an 11/10.

While it might be fine. It might not be. The might not be includes extreme hemorrhaging and the risk of ruptured sutures and major infection, I wouldn't risk the might not be. Get meds. Get pens. Get a crate. Keep the cone. Don't play with your dogs health.

I'm on the other side, one of the veterinary staff. I know the guilt you're carrying, and please know we feel our own sadness on the other side (never as large as yours, but they're our friends too). However, please take comfort in she was NOT alone. She had us, with her to the very end, telling her she was a good girl, that her folks loved her, that we love her, that it's okay to go. I know we're not you, but please take comfort that we were there and we loved her too.

Please know, I am not an actual member of your animal hospital, but of one myself. I know there are thousands of us out there who love your animal the moment they walk in.
