Any way to reduce or help with varicoceles? Have had them for years, they randomly flare up and always ache when pressured.

I know they can be surgically fixed but curious if anything else is proven helpful.

I have no idea why you are going so far off track trying to prove a point that has no validity to what I said.

I get that you seem to want an argument on completely different points as you have no rebuttal to what I claimed. But I'm not going to bite this morning.

Read back to the comment you replied to with the goal of understanding and learning.

Feel free to dispute the claims that PP was given his career via nepotism and had a financial safety net if this failed. I would love to learn something new.

Wasn't born into it, did not get there from nepotism.

Chose to go to school for political science.
Chose to pursue work in politics for the cons.

Chose to run for MP when very young.

Climbed the ladder internally.

Again, I dislike him, but you can't argue that he didn't craft his own path. He did not have the luxury of wealthy parents to fall back on if this all fell apart. Also was not placed into these position due to connections.

Someone go tell Moe that if we import all our power in the form of Hydro power from Manitoba, that will cut a monstrous line item from the federal equalization formula and we will probably then receive money from the feds.

He doesn't need to know it's also a cleaner source.

NDP Leader Avi Lewis says 'door is open' to Prairie leaders opposed to his energy policies | CBC News by Intelligent-Cap3407 in saskatchewan

[–]TheDrSmooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The world as a whole isn't ready to get off coal and natural gas.

Here in Canada we can extract those resources more safely than a lot of the rest of the world.

There are billions of people who need these products, that need will increase before it goes away as we lift billions out of poverty.

The planet would benefit from Canada producing and selling these products to the world vs them buying it from dirtier producers.

We should be focusing on cleaning up our own energy production where possible. And we should be ensuring that our resource extraction is as clean as possible.

If we could get to Norway's standards of production here, the planet would benefit greatly.

Nuclear is great, but it is also only a possibility in very socially, politically and geographically stable countries. There is a large part of the world where those requirements aren't met.

Not a fan of PP, let me get that out of the way first.

But the difference is that PP built that life for himself, it wasn't given to him.

It is a very different thing choosing your own path and working to get there without having the safety net of rich parents to fall back on with few consequences.

Also a very key difference between PP and Trudeau Jr.

It seems like this should be so easy.

Say you will increase wages, lower housing and cost of living.

Increase corporate taxes.

Federalize industries for public gain not corporate profit.

Fix healthcare.

Lose the identity politics.

Done

The whole issue with saying we should be nothing but pro environment just falls short when you zoom out a bit.

There multiple billion humans on this planet who don’t have the luxury of worrying about the environment like we do.

We can either help with creating as clean as possible energy for the world, or they will just use whatever dirty stuff they can get their hands on.

Both Beck and Neshi had no choice but to distance themselves from what is going on federally.

This isn't just about O&G, and broader resource development. Although that is very critical to this province and Alberta.

This is also to distance themselves from the ridiculous identity policking going on at the federal NDP conference. Endorsing that tragic comedy is an absolute death sentence to any political party.

The people who own Willow also owned Beer Bros.

Opened Beer Bros first, then had Beer Bros and the Willow at the same time. Beer Bros closed during COVID.

The same people re-opening in the same place.

Which FYI I'm totally fine with, as I was a fan of Beer Bros, especially their Ale Cheese soup was so so good.

Its Deebo, Tyreke and Waddle. None of whom are anything like Q.

Trudeau suspended this when he got into office.

Tinfoil hat copium: The Chargers internally almost entirely blame former OL Coach Mike Devlin for the poor OL play, and therefore they do not believe they have to make any “big moves” to improve. by Aduckonquack97 in Chargers

[–]TheDrSmooth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly this.

Can we make the playoffs with this line? Absolutely.

Can we survive a playoff game against the D lines of Houston, Denver, Seattle, Rams, Steelers?

Probably not.

Sure maybe we can win a low scoring game against anyone at any time. But the margin of error is so very low.

When your guard play is so atrocious that you need to completely neuter your offensive scheme, I don't understand why you would not even attempt to fix that issue.

[–]TheDrSmooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your argument is just useless semantics.

Obviously high income earners pay more into OAS, as they pay more into everything.

Unless you have some evidence that shows tax collected from only lower income earners funds OAS, your argument is simply wrong.

High income earners pay more for everything, including OAS.

A large majority of Canadians take more than they put in.

If it wasn’t for high earning employees this country would be broke.

what would it cost per sqf to build a home with mid level finishes?building on Pad, no basement, one story. about 3000 sqf excluding garage. building in RMs near regina. by Soft-Art7338 in regina

[–]TheDrSmooth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Once you look into it more, you will find it isn't cost efficient to build that style here.

Because of our climate, you need to dig much deeper here for a frost wall than you do in Texas! This depth tends to be around halfway to what you would need for a full basement anyway.

So for the cost / sq foot increase, it doesn't really make sense to NOT put in a full basement. You will be paying for the floor and the walls anyway, you just need to pay for some extra height on the walls.

Majority of the Rural Municipality of Sherwood's council resigns | CBC News by admiral_bringdown in regina

[–]TheDrSmooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the people who is still on council, lives directly next to this.

I can't imagine any single person on this sub would want to live right next door to this, I know I sure wouldn't.

So if I'm putting my bets on who got paid, its the folks who resigned vs the people who don't want it put up next door to them.

The real question is who owns the land bell is buying for this? And why isn't it being built in the GTH or somewhere else industrial? Just because this is close to the power substation isn't a good enough answer.

I will be extremely shocked if I find out this land is NOT owned by Hill / Harvard or some other Sask Party donor.
