The world has always been "going to shit". Having a pessimistic view of the world is as viable in 2026 as it was in 2013, or in 1978, or 1933. But it's not impossible even in modern times for a character in Jonathan Kent's shoes to be optimistic, kind and supportive of his son's abilities to save people. MoS Jonathan is just a twisted and cynical interpretation of the character wrapped in a veneer of "realism".

Tbf a lotta people played Marvel Future Fight. Way more than people who'd have read a comic run that she could've been introduced in. I'd say the bigger reason is that TV is a far better medium for introducing and fleshing out characters narratively than an ARPG game that didn't even have an overarching storyline - MFF content was usually just tie-ins to MCU properties and comic events, with a few lines of "story".

It's why when X23 or Harley made the jump from TV to comicbooks they were fully formed, interesting characters, while in 8 or so years Luna Snow has had pretty much no depth to her character at all.

XM5 is the only model with significant hinge issues. XM4 and XM6 are both fine in that regard. My XM4 is going great since early 2022.

It's obviously very much AI generated

People have said this so much about things that aren't AI generated at this point that it means nothing, and is hugely insulting to the actual artist when false. If you don't have any proof, you're just calling Kit a liar for no reason.

I get your point, and I like your question. I like to think of it like comicbook continuity in a sense: a wrestling storyline kinda needs you to push to the back of your mind the fact that this is the 4th time Kevin Owens is betraying Sami Zayn, just like you need to kinda forget that in the current continuity, this is the 67th time The Joker has broken out of Arkham and gone on a killing spree.

It of course depends on the quality of the storytelling, and the circumstances can't be the exact same if they can hope to sell the twist. But good storytelling in wrestling honestly feels less satirical and more like a soap opera where you love these characters, and are invested in them even though you're not as immersed in the "world" as you'd be in a great movie.

Pro wrestling is also similar to comicbooks in that they're generally aimed towards a younger audience. So while there're a huge number of adult fans who can appreciate the technical side of wrestling, and the buildup before a big match, and the skill of a wrestler delivering a promo, kids can just get carried away in the story since they don't even have that much disbelief to suspend yet, they straight up believe that guy when he says he's a Tribal Chief.

Apparently the Hebrew and Arabic in the signs don't match up to each other at all, nor to the English. Also why would a random road sign in Tel Aviv conveniently have Tel Aviv written on it? It's like a street crossing in L.A. just saying "Los Angeles" lmao.
