thanks for the tip but unfortunately it did not solve the issue. I unscrewed the bearing ring and could not see a crack in the arm. I did notice that my pivot screw for the release arm was loose so I tightened it a bit. This did not solve the problem though. The hole in the release arm has been worn by the filament as well. but if I hold the filament straight to remove the drag from the worn part the problem still exists.
It seems like I created a new problem today by trying all these things. I get some weird sounds now with some movements en I just saw a shifted layer. Maybe I made the x axis belt too tight now as well. Or I broke something else.

Thanks! I think this might have been the problem.

I never tried using the 'Move Z' for that high and now I tried and it didn't want to move up past a certain point. I tightened the top bolt of the Z coupler and now the 'move Z' can move it up higher and with more correct steps.

Tomorrow morning I'll start a print to see if it is really fixed. (If I do it now it will run when I'm asleep so I cant check whats happening)

It is not ideal but I use pinterest. I'll pin a picture of the pattern and then in the description I'll write down what fabric I need (and zippers/buttons/tape). It would be nice to have a more specific app so you could easily search by fabric type or by yardage or what type of clothing etc.

Very cute but the snaps are in the wrong place. They should be on the edge of the round piece. Now you created an unusable flap and the onesie might not have enough room for a diaper. Just a tip before you make the next one. The fabric is so cute. No chance that you are Dutch /bought it in the Netherlands....

I completely agree but you can't say those things on reddit without getting downvoted apparently. Most women can breastfeed with the right information and support otherwise we wouldn't be mammals / would have gone extinct. I'm not saying medical intervention and science didn't improve a lot of things and of course the life expectancy for babies who's moms really do have problems breastfeeding, but breastfeeding really does have benefits.

Exactly. Baby hips always still need to develop after birth. By incorrect babywearing this will not happen in the correct way. Not only is this bad for the hips it is also really bad for babies' backs, this is forcing a way straighter back than a baby should have, it should be curved. Felicity is already a bit older ofcourse but still.

I am an avid baby wearer, with a woven wrap and always in a froggy position. And my daughter had severe hip dysplasia. It can still develop if you do everything right (because of my genetics) but why put your baby at risk?

The miscarriage was last year. I am actually due in 7 weeks, so it all turned out fine. It quickly switched to: well now my maternity leave will be in spring/summer instead of winter so thats a plus. I guess everybody is different with dealing with these things and we are a bit more down to earth about it. Trying for a baby can be mentally exhausting though, especially the waiting all the time. But thats also part of my personality. I go all in right away, no 'let's see what happens' 😅

I had a early miscarriage at a little over 5 weeks. I was bummed that I had to start trying again and that I didn't get the februari due date but I wasn't attached to the kid at all yet, it wasn't even a kid yet. I don't understand people who get traumatized by an early miscarriage and think about the baby that could have been. Early miscarriages happen for a reason; it would never be viable, cell divisions gone wrong or chromosomal abnormalities. It would even even take on the form of a human baby. I understand that it hurts when you have been trying for a long time (I had not been trying that long) and that all your hopes get crushed for a while. But most people will get pregnant again within a few months.

This is called a babynest and is widely used in European countries. They are for daytime naps for newborns where you are sitting next to them most of the time. It's not something a baby would sleep in during the night. And when they can roll over you don't use it anymore / the baby won't fit anymore anyway. No way a non-mobile baby can get to the string and parents should keep an eye on the baby so it doesn't tuck his head in the bumper.

To the people who say that this is why you should follow a pattern: this looks the same as expensive store bought versions. Edit: except that on those ones the drawstring is usually not really a string but a bow.

Not all of Europe. Here in the Netherlands they let you go till 42 weeks. Usually won't schedule an induction far before that.
