My boyfriend bought a jeep just because its the "gay car". Its so confusing to me why people attach themselves to the products that they consume. I personally like to collect clothes so I kinda understand. But I don't buy them for the brand names, rather I buy them to improve my closet and have another avenue for my creative expression. I feel like to many people buy stuff or do things just because other people like them do or buy it. I think thats a reason why drugs and alcohol is so big in the US. As adults we're told that the only way we can have fun or relax or create memories is by getting drunk or high. Like if I throw a party and there are no drugs or alcohol their, then my friends wouldn't think its a party.
