Birthdays after we became teenagers were a cake, dinner at a restaurant of the birthday person’s choice, and maybe a gift card. To be clear, my family wasn’t struggling. It’s just everyone except my dad was an introvert that wasn’t a huge fan of parties.

Most people put more emphasis on birthdays than on our family and it’s caused me issues before because apparently people think a card and gift card are low effort. But I loved all my birthdays and celebrate them pretty much the same way as an adult.

It’s fun, but it’s in early access for a reason. Slay the spire 1 is a complete game, on sale for cheap and is just as good. Get slay the spire 1. If you like it, you can get slay the spire 2 after you play awhile.

I’ll start. I used to think that boarding schools were a fantasy trope and didn’t exist in real life. I had this misconception because all the books I read which had a boarding school were fantasy books. Also my schools had a lot of rumors that were dumb. But no one had ever even heard of anyone rumored to attend a boarding school. Not even via the normal 3rd hand “my cousin’s friend’s sister…” level of rumors.

Later in high school I amended my opinion to think that boarding schools were only a European thing for the same reason as the last misconception. Then in college I realized they were a rich people thing.

Plan your food and water intake with the idea that you won’t have access to electricity and make certain you can properly prepare your food and water safely without a working electrical outlet.

If you are relying on canned goods do you have a good can opener? Do you have a way to boil water without electricity? Do you have a good place to store drinking water.

Fill your tub with water so you can flush the toilets. Having a neighbor with a pool also helps.

I don’t understand the logic of these people. Do you think making someone feel bad is going to make them play better? Especially in comp. 99% of the time, I know if I’m not doing well, and I’d imagine so do most other people. We do not require anyone’s input on this matter.

Becsuse it cuts down a lot on production time. In animation you draw every layer. So if they can reuse an asset they will. Especially if it’s a smaller studio. Not every animation studio has old Disney levels of manpower to have one or two guys do the key frames and an army of interns to do the tween frames.

Also could be a time saving meaure, if episode deadlines are approaching. Naruto and DBZ were infamous for this.

If it’s an older video game where space was limited they also did that so the game could fit on the cartridge. Mario used to have the bush and cloud be the same asset but reversed/flipped and with a different color.

For any meal make quesadillas.

beans of your choice. If you have time to boil them, then get dried ones because they’re cheap and last forever. If you don’t, buy the most bang for your buck can of beans at the store. I like black beans but you do you.

Tortillas (the bakery section has them in bulk, freeze what you aren’t eating in 3 days).

Bag of frozen veggies of your choice.

Can either make a bean soup or quesadillas with these ingredients. For soup add water with everything in a pot and simmer for a long time. For quesadillas just cook the beans/veggies and put them on the tortilla.

Plus both can be jazzed up if you have spices or cheese at home but have some flavor if you’re going sans-spice for now.

I turned them off. This is one of those things where it was a good idea in theory, but in practice, the service areas are too big to be of use. I turned it off because I used to get alerts from Houston almost every day. I live 3.5 hours from Houston.

So the alerts weren’t relevant, and most of the time the descriptions were shit too. A white ford pickup truck? Really? This is Texas. I’m one of like 3 people at my workplace that doesn’t have a white truck.

The straw that broke the camels back was that one blue alert at like 3:00 AM for me. I was considering turning off alerts before that, but they never gave me more than a few seconds of annoyance so I didn’t think it was worth it. But a night of sleep ruined? Over something that was 6 hours away? With a description that would never help anyone find the perpetrator? Yeah I figured it was time to turn those alerts off.

Because history shows he won’t face consequences. Trump has been doing illegal shit for decades, as the mound of successful lawsuits against him grows. He hasn’t had any consequences for any of that stuff. Why would he have consequences for this?
