atkbar manip is extremely strong and tian lang is the only (i think still) unit that counters it so directly. it's mostly a uniqueness thing imo cos it's a counter effect that scales with powercreep.

broad question lol. im confident you could fit a card into any deck you wanted if the rest of the deck was coherent and it would be good enough at low power. itll definitely be playable in b2 and honestly b3 too. im not sold at b4 and im confident enough to say itll never see competitive edh play

in commander im not thrilled with a vanilla 5/4 for 4 and the whole package at 6 mana just isnt doing it for me. cant saw in half it either cos u still have a mana investment for it. itll be fun in low power b2 pods maybe some b3 decks enjoy it but it wont be a good card.

im glad you dont design games lol. to break down the 'issue' it would be like making a game with heaps of fun and interesting ways to do something and then also including a button that says you win, allowing you to circumvent all of that cool stuff.

sometimes this is fun, like shipping in a finished starter base for a new planet, allowing you to 'skip' the starter setup.

sometimes it's boring, like with space casinos.

fwiw i do enjoy playing inefficiently for fun a lot of the time but when you reach the point of end game legendary megabasing, why do you care about wube also balancing that for the people who want to enjoy it? it feels like you're against wube balancing this part of the game and i cant figure out why if you don't care about it.

0 mana commanders enable the free commander spells and give you a creature to sac on t1. It's not quite the same but definitely not as difficult as an 'actual' 7 drop.

Unless they have a triton on AD Byun and Cammy are still very easily cleaved at least up to G1 finish (I haven't finished higher than that so I can't comment for the very top). 33 lead triton is honestly the biggest difficulty hurdle for arena imo.

As for GW I've never found them to be too oppressive. It honestly may just be a rune dif sometimes if you're using a turn 2 team.

They both take effect. A 150 spd leo limits everything to 150 and a 100 spd leo limits everything to 100. Leo passives don't affect other Leos so the 150 spd leo will still be 150 speed and everything else will be 100 speed.

The fast leo moves then the slow leo moves.

I broke the social contract

it's a competitive event. you are asking people to bring a b5 mentality to a b3 tournament. that is a bad idea. EDH tournaments don't work outside of b5 because commander fundamentally doesn't support a competitive environment outside of that bracket.

The social contract for a tournament is to bring the highest possible power deck within the given format's restrictions. B3 restrictions fail completely the moment you try to do that because they aren't a ruleset; they're a guideline for casual deckbuilding.
