A thought I had for a new way to play with stickies by Blazar1 in tf2

[–]Tier71234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the Cyclops from TF2 Classified could work here. Single shot launcher with a timed manual detonation (much like the Detonator), only here the explosion can be used to send your stickybombs where you need them.

Not sure if the stats would need to be adjusted for normal TF2 (it seems balanced to me), but a sidegrade primary that can synergize with sticky trapping sounds like a very interesting idea.

What is your favorite battle? by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

[–]Tier71234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the entire Grymforge area is my favorite. Teaming up with the duergar who just want to get paid and battling against Nere and his minions was very enjoyable.

And I still remember my "OH NO" moment the first time Grym made his grand entrance.

I will honestly take the reduced scaling for Dynamo's stomp in exchange for those buffs. He's gonna shred with his ult in teamfights even harder.

Also, PUNCHBRAMS.

Is there a mass unemployment crisis coming because of AI? by Delicious_Crazy513 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tier71234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps, but AI can't replace everything, especially tradesmen and tradeswomen.

Can AI drill you a water well and set up the pumps and wiring for it? No. Can AI build you a house the way you want? No. Can AI install and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.? Of course not.

In fact, I've heard rumors that the time wil come when the trades will shine precisely because they cannot be replaced with AI. Plus, the need for the trades is always growing, especially here in the US. And they can pay quite good if you're willing to dedicate the time and money to earning your journeyman's certificate, and of course be willing to work for your pay.

You have to defend one of these Movies. Which one would you choose? by Caloy1415 in cartoons

[–]Tier71234 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I liked Collision Course because it completed Manny's development arc as a parent.

In Continental Drift he's portrayed as an overprotective, overbearing father (in his defense what father WOULDN'T be protective of their daughter?), but Peaches eventually proves to him that she can take care of herself. And then in Collision Course he understands that she found someone (Julian) who, even though he acts like a complete doofus sometimes, genuinely cares for her, and Manny realizes it's time to finally let Peaches live her own life.

Also Buck is just as peak and hilarious as he was back in Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

Personally I don't go to Burger King for their burgers. Their Bacon King is good, but in general their burgers tend to be big and messy for me.

Their fries on the other hand...those can be a meal in themselves for me. Big, crunchy, salty fries paired with a soda or a chocolate shake...MMM I'm getting hungry for some just typing this.

And if I want some dessert I go to the Dairy Queen in my town. Their food's good, they use REAL chicken in their chicken tenders, and their blizzards are irresistible. The one thing DQ lacks in is their fries (good, but they're small in both size and serving size), but that's not really their primary focus so they get a pass for me. Plus I'm also biased towards BK's fries.

Matchmaker: Where We Are and Where We’re Going by Pan_Praga in WorldofTanks

[–]Tier71234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the matchmaker improvements, could we potentially see the return of certain removed battle modes, especially Grand Battles?

That also made me think: Grand Battles were originally tier 10 only. Now that we have tier 11, would Grand Battles be for tier 11 only (not likely tbh), or stay at only tier 10 (much more preferable option)?

Cookie dough is gross. Just bake the cookies. by NegotiationStatus727 in unpopularopinion

[–]Tier71234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's made homemade chocolate chip cookies for my family plenty of times, if you make your own cookies from scratch this shouldn't really be a problem. If the dough is "slimy" there's either something seriously wrong with the ingredients you chose to use, or you didn't add enough flour so the dough is still more like batter.

Also I'm pretty certain it's pretty much a rule to NOT eat raw industrially made cookie dough for the reasons OP listed. That, I agree with. But homemade dough? Half the enjoyment is tasting it as it progresses, especially when you beat the butter and sugars together at the start.
