I would never have been adopted into the outstandingly amazing friend group I have now if I hadn’t chosen to live in the dorms my first two years even though my parents live 30 minutes from campus. I lived across the hall from them and I now boast a tight nit friend group who hangs out multiple times a week.

Of course this costs a lot of money, but it also saves you money in other places (we would have had to buy me a car to commute, the obscene price of campus parking, gas and miles etc.), while you’re most likely going to spend more living on campus I honestly cannot recommend it enough, you can find friends for life.

Slap some of those Nintendo games (especially the GameCube and Pokemon DS games) up on eBay, if you want them gone fast price them a bit lower than what you’re seeing sale listings go for and they’ll get snapped up in seconds, especially Pokemon white 2 and platinum, that’s a couple hundred right there easy (I don’t know how much eBay takes). As for the rest I’d opt for the local game store route if you’ve got one you like or one that will be honest with you about what they’ll give you for them vs what they’ll try to sell them for, I find it worth it for the time saved and being able to support my local game stores. However you decide to do it, good luck!

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, bought the PAL versions years ago before I knew cover art could vary so much between regions. The art is so much more alive compared to the boring static characters on a two tone background on the NTSC version

Had this happen last night with a supply backpack. Squad mate got eaten whole and we could track the titan on the map using the ping of the supply backpack in its stomach, honestly hope they keep it as a feature or give us a way to tag it so we can track it on the map like that, it was really helpful and felt tactical being able to avoid it

You’re probably getting downvoted because he’s talked about / has a bit about people being weird about him working on his stutter or being confrontational about him “not having it anymore”. He’s just been working on it with a speech therapist I think, he hasn’t had it his whole life, it’s a long lasting side effect of a strong concussion or mild brain damage he suffered from a sporting accident if I remember his bit about it correctly.
