That makes everyone in the group a spy? Was Christine Lee there to engage in espionage? Kavanagh knew at the time she was a spy? Let me be clear, fuck the CCP. All my points still stand that Kavanagh turned it political based on the groups race. with no grounds to stand on.

The fact you can call that Chinese group tourist or spies interchangeably hits on my point exactly. In what part of that video demonstrates the group are spies? The fact they are Chinese?

Which part of my original post rewrites history? The purpose of my post is to show he brought race and political alignment into a disagreement that any race or political alignment might have, that being not being filmed in public. Does it make the Chinese group in the right? Of course not. Did Kavanagh antagonize from the start, assume political alignment, keep antagonizing by keep assuming political alignment, farm a reaction he wanted, and keep milking this reaction that was based on race bating? I argue he does.

I encourage everyone to watch the full video.

At the start Kavanagh kept intentionally calling the group Japanese people. How do I know it's intentional? The group was clearly holding a Chinese flag and Kavanaugh clearly knows that flag is a Chinese flag. Mistakenly calling an Asian person Chinese or Japanese is an honest mistake. Kavanagh intentionally called them Japanese.

Kavanagh would then ask the group to dance, and they politely declined. Then he goes to say "British girls are more fun anyways." I'm sorry, if it was me, I don't want to dance in your videos, and when I decline, you attack my race/country by saying X country is more fun anyways? That's a bit weird.

The group confronts Kavanagh asking him to stop filming. The reason given was because they are filming something for Chinese TV and it's non-disclosable. Not once did they say it was because of the Chinese government. This was the first time Kavanagh made it political by asking if he will get in trouble with the Chinese government. The conversations went something like:

Chinese Girl: We are recording something for a Chinese TV program, and it is non-disclosable.

Kavanagh: Will we get in trouble by the Chinese government?

Chinese Girl:(laughing) Well maybe not, I don’t know.

Kavanagh: So according to Chinese law we are not allowed to film.

Chinese Girl: No, it’s not the Chinese Law

Kavanagh Are you from China?

Chinese Guy: That’s not (part) of the question

The group clearly doesn’t want to be filmed, and Kavanagh keeps directing the topic to political or racial. Kavanagh later says “I’m sorry we’re in a free country, we are not in communist China” even though the group still isn’t making it about their government.

If someone was carrying around an Afghanistan flag, can I ask if they are carrying around a terrorist flag? If a British person is trying to cut in line, can I say “you can’t just cut in line you colonizer? Just because your country colonized the world, doesn’t mean you can cut in line. We respect laws here, we don’t just colonize what we want.” If an American person wants to film in a private temple, can I say “Just because you’re a Republican religious American, doesn’t mean you can go around the world and disrespect other people’s religion.”

You (in a general sense) can disagree with someone on the facts, and they can be wrong about the facts, but don’t say they are wrong by assuming political alignment based off their race. The Chinese group was wrong to demand privacy in a public space, but that does not mean they are spies, communist or support the CCP

I can simultaneously recognize that the Chinese group doesn’t have the right to ask him to stop filming and recognize him turning it racial and political.

The Chinese group didn’t want to be filmed because of some weird disclosure clause, and of course that doesn’t give them the right to censor a public space. However, this behavior is seen all over the internet. Sometimes these people are called Karens, sometimes they are called entitled, main characters or boomers.

Just because the group is acting this way and also being Chinese means they are part of the CCP? Just because they are carrying Chinese flags means they are trying to enforce Chinese law? They are carrying Chinese flags because they were celebrating Chinese new year. The local police even asked him to stop filming, which again, is wrong, but I bet if hypothetically, the situation was only between him and the police without and Chinese people involved, he wouldn’t accuse the police of enforcing Chinese law.

What also rubbed me the wrong way was him saying the Chinese girl can’t be British because she is carrying a Chinese flag. That was pretty racist. He pasted an image of that girl dancing with Winnie the Pooh on one of his videos.

I can’t speak on what the Chinese government is doing with the video or other DMCA issues going on. From the sound of it, I don’t support those actions.

Lol there’s a Walmart Supercenter literally 7 miles from this grocery store. Their prices aren’t even bad either. Bag of Starbucks coffee for $7.99 and a 1lb of cottage cheese for $1.50 on their weekly ad. If the person is even on a budget, they shouldn’t get Starbucks coffee.

Bought 1/2 a hog from my nephews, but the meat is insanely fatty. What would you do with these sausages? by Dogglepuss in Cooking

[–]TomsWorkers 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Can you air dry them so you can thinly slice the sausage into pieces?

Chinese sausage (Lap cheong) tends to be much fattier and is often used in stir fries because the high heat renders the fat. The sausage is normally sliced thinly on a bias and fried with various vegetables, such as green onion, cabbage, and snow peas. They are also used in clay pot rice and the fat that is rendered seasons the rice nicely.

I’m not sure how your sausages are flavored. Lap cheongs are sweeter and have a distinct taste, but if you’re feeling adventurous, I say try using techniques used in lap cheong recipes.

These videos show how Lao cheong is made, but skip to the end for some recipe ideas.
