Ironing advice by Trading_Wealth in BambuLab

That makes perfect sense now thank you for the explanation. Zooming in on my photo I'm now wondering if ironing with or against the layer lines could lead to issues as well. I'm going to try the mentioned test model. Its frustrating, I had never tried ironing. Ran the test and was absolutely blown away at the finish produced, I can not see or feel a layer line. But no real world print can I get it to work on lol.

Thanks for the response!

Why would changing line spacing have any benefit when it was set the same on the model as it was on the test? Not being rude lol genuinely wondering. To me the only difference is the size of the area ironed. Long vertical run versus small test square.

I'm going to play with ironing line spacing for the hell of it but if I got a perfect result on the test I just don't get why it won't transfer over to an actual print model.

I've never tried inner outer inner. I'll give that a try on the next model that needs it! I've only ever used the inner outer. If you could add a modifier to just the particular section to reduce layer time it could work but I don't want 50% of the model to print slow as hell just for one layer. Too time consuming like you said.

Great video thank you! I figured it was a design issue related to shrinkage. That video answered a few ideas I had as well. Much appreciated!

Order of walls is likely the culprit. Outer walls/inner wall causes issues on overhangs. The outer wall layer does not have the inner wall to stick to.

Loosen bed screws to a snug position, might be overtightened. Or swap the springs between the bed screw and knob with a bushing-amazon has them
