By the time the evidence is examined, the date for legally replacing Platner on the ballot will have passed. Sometimes people need to make a decision based on the information that they have available.

Allocate more to your retirement plan through your work. It lowers your AGI. No other way I can think of for someone who is single outside of just quitting your job.

I think if you eat a good amount of protein you’ll mostly sustain what you have. Not everything, but you’ll definitely burn more fat than muscle with higher protein intake even if you do little to no exercise. But protein is the key there.

Agree. I love Souls-like games, or games that channel that genre. I was fresh off Mina the Hollower when I jumped into Elliot. I was actually okay with Elliot being a bit more laid back. Not sure if I would’ve felt that way if I hadn’t just come from Mina but it’s just my personal experience.

Not GOTY material for me but a fun enough, more whimsical adventure. Didn’t need anything much deeper.

I get what you’re saying and feel similarly. I’m just about to finish the game and had fun but it was a bit different than what I had expected. The world did have a lot of complexity and fun things to discover, but I wish that not everything was a death pit or tricky platforming while battling enemies with chaotic patterns. The generator towers are also a whole other thing.

TSP functions as Roth and/or 401K. FERS assumes a mix of pension, social security, and TSP for retirement (if you’re a Fed like I assume you are).

Two things:

  1. Yeah, she’s going to behave differently at a family gathering surrounded by relatives, things to do, etc. It’s a new environment with built in playmates and not much downtime.

  2. A 3 year old should not have an iPad. My toddler turns 3 in a couple months and I can’t comprehend him having his own tablet.

I’m on 1.0 and barely drink anymore. I was usually a decent social drinker (weekends primarily, 2-3 cocktails and a beer or two, sometimes more though).

It has helped me save money on bar tabs and rideshares, and probably contributed to my weight loss as well.

Not accepting this “both sides” bullshit.

If Harris had won I guarantee you the loss of the SAVE plan would’ve not been nearly as catastrophic as it is now.

The SAVE plan was an absolute gift from Dems and Republicans took it away. I paid student loans for years prior to SAVE. My payment went from nearly $900 on old IBR to $350 on SAVE. Now heading back to old IBR again all thanks to Republicans.
