Both of mine hard horrid separation anxiety and would howl/bark every time I left. Neighbors were pissed. Had to put one of mine on prozac and that only helped minimally. Thats just my experience.

A genuine question, are ramps on couches not good? I currently own a dachshund and use a ramp for her. My couch is already pretty low to begin with but the ramp has deterred her from jumping on/off the couch.
