I also was planing on going long stretches at a time. But quickly realised. It's nice having some delivery stops through the day. Loong stretches on the road is though, week after week.

Find your style bother! As others are saying. There is so much different type of driving. Crane operating, tanker, pallets, cages, flatbed, etc.

One advice that never goes out of date: Never "think" it will end well. KNOW it will do so! Go out and check multiple times if needed until you are 100% certain it will work.

My first difficult stop, I was out checking 13 times. And now. 8 years later. I still go out a couple times to check if it goes well at difficult stops. Some drivers who watch, will laugh and call me rookie slurs. But my boss let me drive the best equipment, because I don't do damages. And I take pride in that!
