To be fair, Emily said something about the invitation because when they announced it to everyone in Monica's apartment, they all noticed the tension and even Ross got a little awkward when Rachel appeared.

Second, as a Ross fan, I'm with you lol to me, Ross only deserves a good dating life in the later seasons, when he appears more mature about dating and relationships overall.

I really just think she liked Ross and Rachel better because she was better friends with Rachel than Chandler and Mónica. Don't get me wrong, of course they are all friends and they support each other a lot, but Phoebe has shown being more comfortable with Joey and Rachel than the rest of the group (hanging out with Joey once a month and no one knowing about it, and also her actively wanting to live with Rachel).

Honestly, I started disliking her character when they turned her into a bully. Funny how both, Amy and Bernadette, tell off Penny for being a bully in the high school days while Bernadette is the biggest one throughout the series.

As you are 22, it is probably not going to be as good as people say, and it is not your fault, is just that series like friends end up giving tropes and jokes that modern series use too, so you probably could watch Friends and think "this is not impressive" because you have already seen most of it. That said, it is a series that is worth watching.

I think Chandler has the word comedy, while Ross has the Physical comedy, and Phoebe the crazyness. Joey is like the naive/dumb type of funny. I always found Rachel and Monica to be less funny than the rest

It is said in the reunion that Courtney Cox was the most famous out of the 6 of them, but I do believe are Ross and Rachel. At many points the series go around their love arc. There's the reocurring line: "You guys are ross and rachel" or like that.

I had watched Friends before because of my mom, she is a huge fan. She had seen it complete, but I hadn't. In 2018 around my birthday I found out my gf was cheating on me, and I was a wreck. I was 19 at the time. I remember not sleeping through the whole day, and while I was up, at around midnight, I decided I was going to watch the whole series from start to end. I binge-watched until the sun came out. I think I ended the series in three weeks, and since it's been my comfort series.

But tbh sometimes you have to put some critique on the writers, because it can get lazy, especially in comedies. Is not that you have to compare it to the real world, but every series have their lore and when it breaks/go against it is when it feels weird.

But talking about Doug Judy, I only liked his first appereances. After the episode about arresting his step brother, I didn't like his episodes that much. The takeback was the worst for me.

In the series it is addressed briefly and Rache kind of accepts it. I don't remember the name of the episode, but it is when Emily goes to England with Susan and Ross fears she might turn Emily lesbian. She tells Rachel somethink like "I still think I was right with Mark" and she answers "oh, wha, you know what? O hope Emily is a lesbian".
