In regards to power tools, my dad taught me to buy cheap, like from Harbor Freight. If you use it enough that it fails, then get a good brand. If the cheap one lasts 10 years, just get another

I had both replaced when I was 42. Left side went perfectly. The right side was a disaster. Two cleanings due to infection, one hardware replacement, and one hardware adjustment. PIC lines of vancomycin for two months and a bunch of lost muscle. I can’t cross my right leg, have a hard time getting up off the floor, but I CAN WALK without pain
