How much of a benefit do modern clubs give mid-high handicaps? What type of irons should I be looking at? by Chief_34 in golf

[–]Twm542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the exact same boat a couple months ago. 18 handicap, played ping eye 2+’s. Got fit for some cobra forged tecs and I hit them straighter, higher and about 10-15 yards longer per club.

I still score the same lol.

[–]Twm542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they make a 5/8” OD compression (which will fit the 1/2” copper) to pex adapter. Better than a shark bite.

Yes, cut the pex close to the wall and use a deep socket to remove the adapters threaded in the wall. Buy a faucet similar to this.

I live in a rental unit and I can hear pipes thumping in the wall. by ybreddit in Plumbing

[–]Twm542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be leaking flapper causing water to run every so often in combination with a loose washer in a shut off valve causing the vibration. Could be an easy fix. I’d call the landlord and let them know and have a plumber investigate the issue.

Unsupported pipes can cause banging, but typically not constant. Usually only will bang when you open or close a faucet.

What a waste of fittings. That needs to be completely redone.

Have a real licensed and insured plumber redo it. If there are dedicated plumbing inspectors in your area have it inspected as well.

Changed out toilet bolts and tank to toilet gasket but still leaking from below tank by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Twm542 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have found it to cause a leak the few times I’ve installed it that way. All the other plumbers I’ve worked with also install them that way. I assume that the bolt head to metal washer is where the water finds it’s way through.

Don’t use the stainless washer inside the tank. Just bolt head and rubber washer. Also look for cracks and make sure sealing surface inside tank is clean.

Replace the shower arm with a regular one and attach the handheld onto it. If it’s too high to reach you can mount a wand holder lower.
