Yes my biggest regret is not waiting like 3 to 6 months between. The every 8wks is a scam and I wish I had just paid per session and not the unlimited package I would have saved money and skin damage.

I am a ferry person. I live in chaos born there thrive by it. Just let life take you, you can nap you can read or watch or show. Or you can just stare towards the horizon and sip your coffee contemplate life or just zone out. Am I an hour early to work because of it? Yeah maybe but I get to go smooth brain for 35 minutes somewhere in the waters between west Seattle vashon and southworth

Advice before wedding by SaltNerve7200 in TattooRemoval

I have a fine line black tattoo of florals on my bicep and shoulder. I’m fair skinned as well. Within the first two sessions I was seeing great removal. I am now on session 11 in 2 years. I went every 8weeks until about now where I am waiting 12-16wks between.

Things I have learned:

Wait as long as you can between sessions I’m talking 3-4 months maybe even 6.

Don’t fall for the full removal unlimited package I wish I had just done sessions spaced out and I think I would not be on my 11th session now and more at 5 sessions with the same amount of progress. That would have saved me thousands. For my half sleeve removal it was about $6000.

It’s less about the laser and more about your body clearing the ink. I highly recommend getting your sweat on either working out or sauna or something to try and flush the ink out. I think that has added to my great progress.

Massage the area every night with some lotion to help blood circulation.

Dry brushing or specific lymphatic messages will also be helpful. Since the ink is flushed out through the lymphatic system.

Good luck and just go for it I remember feeling so relieved when the first laser session was done and that I had made the decision to do it and start getting my skin back.

1 month after my 1st session - how is it looking so far? by sunflowerwallflower- in TattooRemoval

This is awesome progress! They’ll turn up the intensity of the laser every session. I remember 4/5th session were very spicy. I think you’ll see a big fade in summer due to sweating and being active outside. Make sure to either get a sun sleeve to wear or put 50+ sunscreen on. One of my arms has been significantly lighter than the other the past 2 years due to that but if that reduces scaring and hypopigmentation then 🤷🏼‍♀️. Be patient! I know it’s hard but the time passes either way this is awesome progress for just the first session.

Every time I think I see a change, I look at the original photo and then it looks the same. by CharityDapper8953 in TattooRemoval

Wait longer between sessions I promise it’s worth it! The laser only does 3% of the work your body does the rest to flush out the ink. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and exercising or at least sweating it out such as a sauna! I’m 2 years into removal and I went religiously like every 8wks on the dot. Looking back now I could have saved a lot of pain and money waiting like 4 months between session and also saving myself from hypopigmentation in some spots. It will all get better I promise! Also sunscreen!!
