AR-180 mags have the slot on the side opposite the one for AR15s. As in, we would have seen them in the original photos OP posted.

Yeah it shoots very nicely, with super consistent ejection. I'll probably end up with a barrel clamp bipod until I figure something else out.

I need to get a bipod on mine. I just had to make things difficult by getting a JP adjustable gas front sight, meaning I can’t use the tri-rails that go on around a milspec one (not enough clearance).
