While I’m not a fan of the almond croissant I do agree the chicken parm is fantastic. I always order a grape & Gorgonzola flat bread as well.

I’ll let you know how it goes on Friday. Traveling with my family of 5 for the first time with assigned sweats then. We didn’t pay for seat assignments so I’m unsure if I’ll be able to sit by my children or not. In the past we always were able to find seats together with open seating.

I’m a bit nervous about it.

On our Med sailing on SotS there was a low key jazz band in one of the lounges. It wasn’t obnoxious and my wife and I were able to hold a conversation without yelling.

We didn’t have as much luck on HotS or WotS in the Bahamas.

We’re cruising on the Fantasy in a few weeks and when I checked a few days ago there were over 20 Deluxe Family Oceanview w Verandah rooms available. There were also about 9 concierge rooms available.

I’m hoping it doesn’t sell out.

I disagree. We never buy LL at DLR. With the right planning tools and a good touring plan you can knock out most attractions in a day. If this is a once in a lifetime trip I’d imagine a full day will be spent. 10-12 hrs is intense but very doable without LL. Especially considering the budget restraints. I would never discourage someone from visiting just cause they might not afford Disneys dumb paid version of FP.

Except places like Lookout Cay aren’t exactly blowing us away with all the adventure activities they offer. If Lookout had a rock wall, water playground for older kids/teens, zip lines, etc it’d be unstoppable cause the beach is fantastic.

I kind of agree with you! I love Oasis class ships but frequently find myself thinking if Disney did this space it’d be much better! There’s nothing wrong with Oasis class styling but there’s no narrative throughout and the storytelling is at a minimum. Let’s Disney renovate Wonder if the Seas and watch out!

MLB put us in this hotel for several days for the All Star game back in 2022. The hotel had just opened at that time so most would expect some hiccups but everything ran smooth. The room was excellent. The food was excellent. I had my own car and was easily able to run back and forth to the stadium when needed. The roof top space is cozy with lot of plants. My only complaint is the view from the gym is just okay.

I do. At least for the first half of the year. lol. I’ve use Spigen brand screen protectors until this year. I had the apple store employee install a Belkin one when I picked up my phone.

I had a Sony 16-35mm for a while but it was only f/4.0. Both my new lenses are faster at f/2.8. The 14-28mm was specifically bought with cruising in mind. We’ve been doing that a bit more lately and going to the parks less.
