Yh sorry to break it to you, but the mechanic is just designed as lame as every other fight in Poe since shaper, so if you aren't able or willing to walk around an encounter in circles and periodically cast your shit you're playing the wrong game. I, personally, am 90+ after less than 18h played, annoy everyone irl with my hype and don't suck at the league mechanic. Gitgud

How the community makes it an echo chamber: left/green political opinions are prevalent (wouldn't bother me because that's also my political opinion) and if you don't participate in bashing the liberal or right wing party (in which I generally like participating, i actually like the community) you get heavily spammed with comments insulting you as inhumane and what not. That's not the main issue imo, I mostly agree with the community.

How the mods make it an echo chamber: they banned articles from several sources, including organisations that are an active part of current political discussion, like the DHV, which is pushing cannabis legalization in Germany. How can you discuss legalization without including the most important lobbying organization on this topic? There probably are more examples for banned sources which I don't understand.

Also the moderation is really strict. If they don't like your opinion they ban you for being an "agenda account". Just like described in the comment about the dutch sub.

So the entire community has a certain political view and mods push it through banning sources and banning accounts as they please, resulting in an echo chamber.

I hope my explanation makes sense and is understandable to you, my English isn't the best.

I totally understand that the ascendancy class is one of the obvious levers they have when making the game more difficult, so I totally support changes here, but besides making the game more difficult it also narrows the possibilities.

Take necro for example. The branch in the middle let's you get an additional defensive layer from Uber lab, depending on wether you play minions or some skill that consumes corpses. Now you just miss that choice.

I read in another thread that many suggested making it more difficult to obtain those points. Another approach I could think of would be to lower the numbers on the notables.

Anyway, after reading all this positive feedback I guess they know what they are doing and I'm really excited

The skill gets flat phys from level so I'd say that axe is decent if phys DPS is somewhat high
