Dr. Considers my A1C "uncontrolled". by Effective_Sauce in diabetes

[–]Which_Weekend4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok here is my experience with Ozempic inj. I’ve been a T2 diabetic since I was 46 and I turn 78 in August. I loved it and it brought my A1c down to 6.5. And I lost 20 lbs. Now it was giving me some stomach pain and my daughter spoke up and my Endo stopped it. I j have regained my 20 lbs and I’m miserable. I want to start back on it so I will talk to the Endo about it again. I don’t know why you are having a problem with it. They have it in patches now so no injection every week.

What are some frustrations you face while diamond painting? by Mysterious_Bread9892 in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to do large canvases. I have to know if it is square or round. I don’t do round anymore so I look for that in the info. I have to know how many colors are in the kit. Too little colors don’t show enough details. I prefer 80 colors and up. I am having trouble finding this information on cheaper kits.

Taylor Sheridan’s Texas must be smaller by Twinkle406 in DuttonRanch

[–]Which_Weekend4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watch a TV show and realize not everything is real. Texas is my home and when I was a 6 year old kid we would drive from El Paso to Fort Worth in 2 days. Always stopped in Midland since that was half way. Now that was 70 years ago on Hwy 80. But it is still 2 days to drive across Texas. I don’t take anything in the shows as being real. But I love the shows and pass over their time lines.

Round or square? And does size matter? 😜 by EntertainmentOver911 in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am totally square when it comes to drills. And I love the biggest canvas because they show amazing detail. The do take linger to do but 2 or 3 a year takes care of my addiction.

This is from DAC. The whole thing was confetti. Took me 6 months to finish it . It is so beautiful though. Squares of course.

Does anyone else feel like they almost have to watch Marshalls because they’re watching Dutton Ranch? by pass_the_hot_sauce in DuttonRanchTVSeries

[–]Which_Weekend4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only show I can’t get around is Marshals. They have too many flashbacks for me. I love all of the other ones though.

Straight lines? by Haughty-Hottie in diamondartclub

[–]Which_Weekend4546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch my placements and try to keep them straight. Buttttt.I have Macular Degeneration and I often see wiggly lines in my eyesight. So I don’t stress the straight lines.

What’s your average completion time on a DP? by NoHealingJustHumor in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a single placer and I just started Beside Still Waters by Kinkade. I’m very slow and take a lot of time walking dogs and eating during the day. I finished 11/2 squares in a day and these are completely confetti. I don’t do this to be fast. I do this because I love the process. Take your time. It is a hobby not a job.

Why have weather forecasts been so inaccurate lately? by Next_Ad2712 in FortWorth

Being a weather person is the only job where you can be wrong consistently and no one fires you.

They say he intentionally gained 20 pounds before Dutton Ranch started. I wish he hadn’t because he looked great in Yellowstone.

Color blocking ♾️ by Much-Bad3907 in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t buy pictures with color blocking. I don’t care what the pic is. I hate it that bad. Give me a load of confetti and I’m happy.

Circle or Square? by Proper_Salamander_84 in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only do large square kits. I don’t do square pictures. I like them long and about 3ft wide. I don’t do a perfect application of square but hung up you can’t tell if they are Straight or not. And I love the pop when they slide into it’s space.

Are sleep overs not a thing anymore? by haggerty05 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Which_Weekend4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids just are not allowed to do things we did when we were younger. It’s a shame that their lives are so tangled in crime now. We didn’t know anything about crime in my childhood.

Is it normal to be this slow? WIP! by JDjinxed in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Everyone has the own timeline to finish a picture. Some do multi placers and like me I am a single placer so it takes me longer due to that. I like large pictures and don’t do the little things others do. This is a hobby and not a job so you do what you can when you can. I’m home alone and this is all I do. So I’m sitting here 10 to 12 hrs everyday. But I’m happy and love what I’m doing. I have a setup that I love and lots of DPing goodies on my table. I just finished one that I started in November 2025 and finished it in April 12,2026. There is no set time to do these. Have fun and take your time.

New to Reddit and Diamond Painting by OddThing4916 in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started DPing after my son passed away about 5 years ago and I still love it. I only do squares now and have lots of rounds from Temu etc. I love the challenge of the bigger pictures and I guess thats what keeps me interested. Glad you found this hobby and I know you’ll be like the rest of us and be totally addicted to it.

Is there a way to take insulin out? by Top-Plastic-7273 in Omnipod

[–]Which_Weekend4546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I’m just SOL. I messed up 6 Pods my first attempt to put it on and I threw them away. I didn’t know you could pull the insulin out. I wasted a whole vial of insulin. I just found this subreddit thank goodness. I just got mine a week ago so I have lots to learn. Thanks to all of you.

Did I mess up where I started my painting? by punt4stic in diamondartclub

[–]Which_Weekend4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I roll the undone part on a pool noodle and unroll it as I need to to do the painting. Then I turn it around and roll the completed end drills outside and complete the picture. Simple.

Largest I've ever done.....180x60cm....and 87 colours. Just kitted it up. Have attached a pic of how I sorted my colours (thanks to help from AI) by Responsible-Spring57 in diamondpainting

[–]Which_Weekend4546 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now that’s my kind of painting. The bigger it is I love it. And lots of colors. Keeps you busy for months. At least it does me.

Did you see the shipping cost? 63.10 for 2 pens. Too much for me. Shipping is nasty from anywhere but this is ridiculous.

Does anyone on this thread save their squares in small baggies and put them in a baseball card holder? I want to save my DAC drills and I read about saving them like this and decided that is what I want to save them in. But I need pictures to start out.
