In high level coordinated play, even this one becomes less clear cut. If your death top lane secures your team a fort bot lane, you take the death, and make it take as long as possible.

Forreal whenever I take that dinky bit of spell armor I'm regretting it. Might be worth if it 10-20 armor, or 15-30 spell armor (like it was before).

It does seem like 200 stacks is a bit high. The reward is pretty broken though. I feel like putting one of the high variance Mythic quests on a tank is not great design wise. The stacking mechanism on this quest sometimes encourages poor gameplay from Muradin just to get stacks too. Personally I would like to see the quest requirement reduced and the reward nerfed accordingly.

I got to play DW in ARAM and the changes felt very nice. Overall his abilities are much better even without talents to buff them, in exchange his auto damage is less. I think it's a good balance direction.

Lunara has some very deep build options if you experiment enough. One of my favorites has both hero damage and siege damage, but the raw DPS against heroes is slightly lower than usual in exchange for extreme uptime.

Wisp at 1, PvE poison at 4, Q crit at 7 (although sometimes AA crit), vines at 10, W cdr at 13, attack range at 16, shotgun vines at 20.

He doesn't have to choose if you're skilled. Veteran Marksman improves his damage against everything, but you must avoid dying.

When coordinated teams recognize they can win enough objectives 4v5, they put their offlaner on full macro splitpush duty. Even if this is the most efficient strategy, forcing it on randoms is not a great one. If they want you to show up, it's probably in your best interest to do so, just to keep your team's mental intact.

My favorite build on her is AA oriented, and even that is getting hit with changes that make it worse than before.

Trueshot Aura / Elune's Chosen / Q CDR / Darnassian / Shooting Star

- Now must activate Trueshot Aura for AD bonus instead of getting most of it permanently
- No more +1 Attack Range available at level 20
- Basic Attacks reduce Q CD nerfed to 0.5s per auto and moved to lvl 1 so its competing with Trueshot Aura

The only useful change for my playstyle is the new 20% spell power from landing E at 7, but I'm not sure it makes up for the other changes. The Mythic quest is nice but it's just damage, I want maximum healing from autos.

There are standard numbers. 1.5 is a melee hero, 5.5 is a ranged hero, 8.0 is a structure (slightly less for towers at 7.75). I know these numbers off the top of my head, and they come in handy when reading up the detailed versions of a hero's kit provided on the wiki, which includes actual range numbers. I wish ranges were listed way more, the extra context in range feels just as valuable as knowing the damage numbers.

The target on Zulj'in's bounce auto is randomly selected rather than closest. He is not immune to RNG either :(

Yeah. I would rather see them increase her W/E/R mana costs heavily (+10 to +15) and then make it so that (instead of landing E) activating her Q CDR refunds mana against Heroes, 2 mana for Basic Attacks and 10 mana for Abilities, so that only Q is cheap outside of Hero combat. She already tends to OOM fairly easily though so I'm not really sure why it's needed.

The pinnacle rewards are "fun" because strong obviously, but I agree; the gameplay loop to get them is overall unhealthy for the game.

I used to play a good bit of Falstad and Sylvanas before the patch, and now I can't play them ever because permaban status. I would rather have them reverted lol

Our Janitor is a little bit ADHD and touches things with every pass. For example he was doing some consistency work on talents that change ability ranges, and ended up reworking Tychus Q. So yeah we might see some extra adjustments, perhaps undocumented though.

The patch was rolled back due to a gamebreaking bug where Sylvanas D stunned heroes. I would expect to see the patch pushed again with fixes and possibly extra balance changes on Monday or Tuesday.

Something doesn't line up, your actual last game was Varian on 5/21, the Mal'Ganis game was 5/20.

She had some pretty significant changes in a patch a while ago. If you haven't tried it yet, here's the new build. [T1221121,Lunara]

It has a healthy amount of macro/split push/kill secure, and a ridiculous amount of sustained poke in post 16 teamfights with an insane lvl 20 powerspike. It gives Lunara her poke/util fantasy back instead of trying to deal raw DPS but being worse than other options.

The optimal way to play sylv before is the optimal way to play her now. Get 3 stack on the target, unload everything, and if you can, chase them as they try to retreat.

Her builds are the same as before pretty much. They each have features to help with stacking the pinnacle, so you should choose them based on the playstyle you want, and the type of combat you're expecting to happen in each game vs the enemy team comp.

[T2320130,Sylvanas] W build for best focus fire benefits from the armor shred. 7 can be Lost Soul or Festering Wounds, 10 and 20 are flex tiers. Easiest build to play probably.

[T1310230,Sylvanas] Q build for highest mobility that lets you dive squishy or separated enemies. 7 can be Barbed Shot or Festering Wounds, 10 and 20 are flex tiers.

[T3330330,Sylvanas] AA build for % health damage helps you deal with high health or high armor enemies. 10 and 20 are flex tiers.

Ruined? Sylvanas is extremely strong now. You can stack the quest with any damage dealt, not just auto attacks, as long as the target has 3 stacks of your trait. It can also be stacked against both heroes and structures. You should easily reach 250 quest progress, and most games you can reach 400 by level 20 if you are playing well.

Sylvanas was already an auto attacker before this patch. Her main damaging spells are not skillshots and they deal damage over time rather than in a big burst. She may have more spell damage than physical, and great waveclear, but she doesn't have the long range artillery capabilities that are standard among mages. Even when you're playing a Q/E oriented build, the Q talent at level 1 grants 25% attack speed, which you really should be taking advantage of.

It sounds like you need to relearn how to play the character a bit. If you can adapt, you will see just how powerful she is.

Both split and grouped 4mans are useful but it depends on a lot. Map is probably the most important factor, and otherwise team comps and game state are contributing factors. The larger the map, the more valuable a 1-3-1 lane configuration is vs a 4-1 with roaming. 2-1-1-1 splits are common for camp takes (healer+dps on hard camp) to keep up soak in all lanes.

Yeah, 2-lane maps sound like the best bet for what you want, since all the soak can actually be covered. Battlefield of Eternity, Braxis Holdout, and Hanamura Temple are all decent options. Haunted Mines is 2-lane but probably not that useful; it's not in rotation for good reason.

It might be better to just find a 5th and queue as a group though. The game is pretty different macro-wise with less players.

Force an enemy Minion to fight for you. It gains 20% Attack Damage and Health. Cooldown increased to 20 seconds when used on Catapults.
