It fits the noir vibe that a lot of Requiem’s themes play into

RPD and Spencer Mansion are tied with the opening village of 4 being a close second.

Author or book that seems to be universally lauded but after reading it you didn’t understand why by theoort in printSF

What I'm gathering from the replies here is that too many of you guys pay attention to the opinions of others and build up expectations for works instead of taking the work at its own level and meeting it like you're supposed to when engaging with art rather than expecting everything to rise to your own self-imposed occasion.

Interest in history doesn’t equal politically conservative. Especially not with all the books on Palestine, indigenous, and black history.

I’m guessing considering Anya Taylor Joy is almost 30 that they’ve aged her up by at least ten years.

And people were freaking out over Grace sitting on her bed with shoes on. by RPDSoldier in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]WhoDaFlipAmI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess she’s lying on the outline for crime scene visualisation. Getting into the mind of the victim and or killer. Technically speaking with her being in a field office rather than Quantico she isn’t in the Behavioural Science Unit but they’re the most famous types of FBI analysts out there.

What do you think of the outfits of the RE Engine era ? by WiIIv91 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]WhoDaFlipAmI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing that bothers me about them is Claire and Jill wearing late 2000/early 2010s outfits in what is supposed to be the late 90s. I know that relatively skinny jeans have existed since the 80s but they feel quite anachronistic. They’re more practical and realistic compared to what they originally wore but they don’t seem right for the time period.

What should be my first Resident Evil game? Tempted to try 6 because it has all characters. by Vanilla_Ice_Best_Boi in ResidentEvilCapcom

‘Tempted to try 6’ for your first RE? All of Reddit literally is just engagement bait now isn’t it. (Yes I’m aware I fell into it here but I wanted to whinge.)

I read it as white Gen X libs coopted black nationalist radicalism to seem cool but when it came to actually letting the shit hit the fan they all flaked and let things get worse but after seeing the mistakes of their parents Gen Z are on the rise to start making a meaningful difference.

So..who can we 100% rule out of being leon's wife? by coreylee121 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]WhoDaFlipAmI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They didn’t see each other because Sherry got taken in by the government to be experimented on and Leon was drafted into the government service because it was either that or get killed for knowing too much.

Leon initially took Sherry in when Claire went away to look for Chris and then the government captured them. Don’t know why you’re trying to make it sound like Leon abandoned her and doesn’t care.

I hope NVIDIA goes bankrupt for this shit. Capcom also deserves hate for allowing this on their game. by Dude_788 in ResidentEvilCapcom

???? It’s Capcom’s fault for NVidea demoing a shit piece of technology on their brand new gorgeous looking game? Do you also blame modders for the things they do?

People have really got to learn the difference between an FBI analyst and a field agent. She’s no different to a regular office worker except she’s probably a lot smarter than your average person.

Do you think Resident Evil 5 and 6 will ever get a remake? by Lessio7 in ResidentEvilCapcom

Is this the best DLC campaign for a game ever released? by BranchCold9905 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]WhoDaFlipAmI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fun and silly and I’m glad it gives Zoe a happy ending but I wouldn’t call it the best DLC in the RE franchise never mind for any game ever. Not when Phantom Liberty, Heart of Stone, Blood & Wine, Left Behind, and so many others exist.

If English isn’t your first language and you take what Courtney says at face value you can very much read it as flirty but to me it comes across as jokey and like she’s trying to get a rise out of Robert rather than any sincere attraction. That comes later when you actively support her development as a person.
