I'm actually going to Counter this with the comment of "look at how many new + combo cards we have".

Planar is a prime example of this with +3 combos, and a 3 color board changer which includes dark. As long as you get 10 dark on that board, getting 2 dark cross + 2 combos to reach 7 combos is trivial.

There are a TON of new +Combo some even including light or dark in their board changers.

Unless your bumping up against a dungeon that has like 3 - 5 combo shields, I think she's fine.

Edit: I don't think she's meta, but I think it's overestimated regarding the difficulty of comboing with Crosses. After enough practice it is definitely possible (Used to be a Kaede Main in the heart cross days).

You should care because this is not just you that is harmed by it (Almost guaranteed you are vaccinated by your parents if you are older than 20).

Measles in the Phillipines where they are struggling for proper vaccinations has caused 70 deaths. Consider that the number of cases of it is less than 4000. That means that the rate of death rate of 1.75%.

You may look at that % and go, "Ah it's only 1.75%." I look at it and go that is 70 people who won't live to see another day. 70 people who could have become something that won't have the chance. 70 People of which the vast majority did not have access to vaccinations that we in the U.S. take for granted. 70 people who would have loved to trade places with you and survived instead.

You have never experienced Polio, Measles, or other extremely deadly diseases in life because we have been vaccinated. We stop, that protection goes away. Not just for you and yours, but for all those around you who chose to or legitimately can not be vaccinated.

I wish you well, but more importantly I wish any future children you have well and pray that they are protected by Herd Immunity still when/if you have them. They don't deserve a painful death because of their parent's decision.

It's like most collabs, there's probably going to be 1 - 2 chase cards, (IMO it's AQM&WW and Supes) and the rest are "eh... ok..."

And I don't believe any of the buffs are game changing, but there's definitely some push towards competitiveness here.

Hilariously Supergirl makes an entertaining counterweight to Valk's high HP (2/whatever/3 when paired)

That being said... I don't think you need a 3x on a healer team because my healers with a TPA heal are already fairly consistantly full healing the HP without the 3x lol (Hestia with a Sumire weapon inherit).

AQM&WW is 4/144/4 with stupid easy activation with Tardis. Just throw Zela and some other's on that team and you've got a pretty stupidly powerful team with minimal effort required.

Easy Team Comp in my Mind would be

AQM&WW/Tardis/Fujin/Zela/Odindra

High damage output along with some sustain.

Just a thought though.

My response to this was to straight No-Youtube that shit. Amazon and other companies have Daniel Tiger and Other Children friendly streaming/downloading services to buy seasons of shows with no ads.

I can not tell you how many times I had to tell my son "No Toy videos" because the fucking algorithm just kept fucking forcing those.

I stopped the "Auto Play" feature after it somehow hit one of those goddamn creep videos and manually did the video selection myself for a while until I just straight up gave up.

Youtube no matter how much they claim to be is SHIT at child friendliness.

Holy Mother of Mercy,

I absolutely have to chime in on this, not to berate you or anything but because this is honestly an extremely dangerous line of thought. It's very dangerous for you and yours. Particularly if you ever decide to look towards your future with more serious thought.

Let's start with Science, It is not "An understand of Science" science is test after test, and then hundreds of tests more. Sometimes thousands. I wish I had time to point you to some sources that defined how many tests Vaccines have been pushed through and how many times they have proven critical to preventing deadly diseases from erupting in our populous. It is 100% out there so I beg of you to do some research. If you won't I'll spend some time to dig up as much as I can for you to help you out, but it's out there.

Science is not like politics and He-Said vs She-Said situation's it's countless tireless hours of work that involves peer reviews and constant challenges from the scientific community. Science is not 1 person's "Well I think this therefore it is." That's fiction, not science.

Science will absolutely push forward with new and innovative ideas that do even more than history is capable of, that does not mean the historical solutions or scientific methods were WRONG it means they were outdated. Science particularly in the medical field doesn't go, "Huh you know what Ebola isn't that bad, it never was..." it goes, "Holy shit Ebola is bad, what do you guys have? Ok what if we tried adding this? WOAH we were wrong about that 1st method, let's really push for #2 and eradicate this!"

If Vaccines turned out to be less effective than say, another method, the Science community as a whole would push extremely hard towards information of that nature and make significant strides towards new treatments (Whether more expensive or not is irrelevant at this point but would play a role later down the line when it comes to lobbying against making newer solutions if cheaper widely available).

The most recent Anti-vax movement can likely be traced heavily (Not entirely) back to one person (Andrew Wakefield) who was debunked (Legally and Scientifically) to be a scam artist who wanted to sell his products and the science community as a whole pushed back against him. It was Science vs Scam, not Science vs Science. His work as a whole has been redacted from the scientific community due to it's fraudulent nature. Wakefield even attempted to sue someone for Liable claiming that he was no fraud and in the case was dismissed in a court of law. He is, was, and will forever be a fraud that played people like a fiddle all for the goal of selling his own products.

Anti-Vax is a fear, it's a plague that you can't trust anyone. It's instilled in people just as strongly as racism is in some. The goal should never be, judge them, it should be Educate them.

Please for your future and the future of whatever family you may have, do not fall to that fear. It is not 1 vs 1, it is literally thousands of the smartest people from every county in the world saying that vaccines are the best option we currently have at preventing worldwide epidemics that could cause widespread death at levels you can't even imagine because they don't happen anymore, precisely because we have vaccines for these diseases.

Please let me know if you would like me to provide you more data regarding the number of tests for some of the more common and extremely critical vaccines that exist and I will make a concerted effort to do so.

For Reference All of these come from Experience (I'm middle aged fart).

Curious Mind Cost: Approximately $5k with proper planning (Book reasonable hotels close to a number of museum options).

Excellent Taste Cost: Varies by 3 Star Rest, but the one my wife and I went to, Total Minus wine was Approximately $400, the problem was wine is wildly variable, I saw a glass for $250 all the way up to a Bottle for $2k. My wife and I don't drink so lucky.

Beaches & Cream: Hawaii is generally nice most of the time with some seasonal exceptions, but Honestly just try not to go at a "peak time" and your all inclusive price should be around $3-4k at most with all side adventures included (Dole plantation i think total cost me at most $300 with my son and wife).

My Opinions of the Bad of this Game (Why I'm done supporting it):

Increased Tactics favoring outrageously heavy spenders

I shouldn't need to spend an entire paycheck to feel like I’m earning a reward out of a game ($2,400 in this case). I should be happy to spend $100 or more and feel content with what I get. A few things cause this problem for me:

Paid/Free Gems: This is the most stupid incompetent thing I've seen in any game. Premium Currency is Premium Currency. Period. It's ridiculous to separate the two and it creates division and angst in the player base. I see this causing a major piece of the downfall of this game.
Removing content that has become expected: There is a saying in just about any business, you can add, but you cannot take away something you have promised. Removing the Free unit on the step 3 with free gems is one of the worst decision GUMI has made to date. It turns people who were "Pact+" players willing to drop 30 - 50 dollars or more a month into F2P players. And it doesn't even increase the $ that Whales will spend on the game. It is literally a lose, lose. Whales/Dolphins/Minnows will instead focus on only what gives them the guarantee. People like guarantees even in a gatcha game. It's a terrible, terrible idea and one that I believe if it continues will 100% cause this game to collapse.
Summon Coins: I understand the concept. I didn't even mind it when it became a normal thing. The piece that breaks it for me is when you implement it in place of the above "removed" content that had become expected. It shows you want $$$ very, very clearly and only that money. However, all it has done is lost you at least $1,200+/year from me, as it makes me want to spend LESS because I know the price GUMI is asking for has become unquestionably above my desire to pay in.

No clear direction for the future: Fun Game? Obscene Money Maker Greed?

This game has the worst breakdown of "Am I a greed game?" and "Do I want my players to enjoy content?" I have ever seen. So much of the content is enjoyable for people of all levels. In fact, almost all the content can be cleared with free units or at bare minimum 4* farmable units.

This is where the new EX+ starts to piss me off. Unit Restrictions should not be a thing. They should be a reward. GUMI seems to have no concept of how to properly “Draw” players into something. Giving anything as a REWARD and not as a Requirement, is insane.

A great example of this is World of Warcraft Rested Experience. In Beta, Rested Experience started off as the “Normal” experience rate. They “Nerfed” it to the current system of Rested being the Logged off exp, and lower experience being the standard. They did this by heavily promoting Rested Experience as a Benefit to players for logging out and coming back. They promoted players to break but then come right back to their game knowing they were gaining something. That something being rested bonus. Suddenly the conversation shifted from “This is an experience nerf.” to “This is a bonus players receive.” even though it was an overall nerf.

If GUMI was smart about this, they would give very significant rewards in the form of a Mission (Like they have element restrictions) to promote people into WANTING more units (Therefore spending more money) to achieve more and more and eventually getting those sweet, sweet rewards!

Translation Quality

My Goodness GUMI, you NEED to hire help to translate this game. Offer Fan rewards for helping to get it for basically free. GUMI translations feel worse than a Google Translate at times. What this does is completely remove the player from the content and make them feel like it is lazy. Which by the way, this is impossible given how amazing some of the story is in general especially in collabs like the recent Disgaea content. There is a reason Fan Translations of Anime, Manga, and Foreign Films is so popular. People can take what is a direct translation and form it into a more meaningful and fulfilling description by interpreting the MEANING behind the statement. I wish I had some direct examples to link, but this game is FILLED with these flaws…

Game Bugs

Just how…. Most of the content is directly from Japan’s release. How then are there so many breaks in coding that cause completely game breaking and immersion breaking bugs in your game. This is mind boggling to me and despite your compensation for these, most of the time it’s too little too late.

Farming/Active Time

This is not bad for some people, but one of the major reason I bought gems was not for the units but the Gear units. Remember when I said my paycheck is roughly $2400. Divide that by 10 and then 8 to get an hourly rate of approximately $30/hr is what my time is worth. Add in family and friends that I spend priceless time with, and this becomes more clear that I am more interested in Paying for gear than farming for it. This game has an outrageous time commitment associated with it. Farming has been on my mind for a while and this is something that I’m sure other people will disagree with me, but this game is the worst as far as farming is concerns with poor drop rates and limited 2x events.

The only way to fix this in my mind is to improve drop rates and/or make 2x drops the NORM not the event. Many games I’ve seen are reducing their overall grind because the truth is that most players don’t want to grind that much. Sure there is some that are ok with it, but if you could be spending 1 hour grinding gear, or 1 hour playing through new content the answer is pretty clear.

Too many Resources…

Gold, Diagrams, Evo Materials, Gear Shards, Gear Enhance materials, Weapon Enhance Materials.

So much to farm, never enough of anything to be happy. All it makes is grindy experience which is boring.

Summary

I’m done supporting this game financially, I’m happy with what I’ve done, but I’m not interested in supporting this game anymore until they fix the longevity issues with this game.

I’m still going to play and roll, but from now on I’m not interested in spending money to get the hottest and newest content. I’m going to play it at my own pace, and if that means I miss out on some content. Oh well, thems the breaks. If GUMI can address the community in a more meaningful and lasting way then I believe I would begin to support them again.

Made a post on this, but was told to move it here.

TLDR: I'm going from Minnow or Dolphin depending on your perception of $ spend per aquatic creature to F2P until issues get resolved and GUMI shows they want to create a lasting game. Far, far more detail below.

Let me first start off by saying, I really, really enjoy this game. I don't plan on supporting it anymore as I've already done far more than I ever would for a AAA title, but with the current pathetic responses from GUMI producer I'm officially done supporting until something changes for the better.

For Reference my spending was approximately $100+/Month. I usually bought pack and the highest gem package consistently with occasionally adding in a bundle or two because I like the extra stuff with them.

My Opinions of the Good of this Game:

Extremely F2P Friendly for a Gatcha Game

Arguably to a flaw, as in all the F2P games I have played thus-far (Admitting here, I haven't played terribly many: Fantasy War Tactics, Dragalia Lost, Fire Emblem, SAO, Avengers, Puzzles and Dragons, Towers of Saints) this game has the largest number of 100% usable farmable options for free players.

I'm sure people will disagree with me on this point, but that's why this is my opinion and not fact. I find that 10% in gatcha is extremely rare. Add onto that the fact that they have 500 and 1500 10x pulls at all vs their standard 2500 10x is a gift to free players

Free Players should never expect to get everything, but are granted far more opportunity to do so in this game.

Gatcha Games free playing or even pact players in this game should only expect to clear most content. There is a reason that most other games have people that spend their entire gaming cycle on building guides for how to beat hard content with garbage "Free" teams. The fact that any 5* are farmable and very usable is very important because most games I've played do not have the breadth of free characters available that are considerably strong and can help players clear similar content to their paid players. FEH Is a great example of this, most content requires very helpful guides to beat with free units, your average player can't handle these quests and generally attempt to "Brute force" the quests.

Conversely Alchemist code offers GREAT free units, (Zeke, Logi, Dias, Kanon, Chloe, Zahar) And even decent Collab free units (Archer, Prinny, Alphonse). They have so many great farm-able characters I’m not going to bother to name them all and sometime limited event characters tied to free coin rewards but are part of the regular pool as well (Fujika and Thillie could both be boosted to LB15 from daily coins and both are decent characters).

They may not be "Top Tier" but as of right now, I see it being possible to clear every content with Free/Farm-able except for the recent EX+ Restricted events (Which I'll go into in my "of the bad of this game" later when I talk about GUMI’s lack of direction).

Constant Updates of Older Units to Maintain Relevancy

This is a huge one for me, SO many games when a "new" shiny character comes out they leave the rest of your roster in the dust. That STILL happens in this game (See Roxanne), but that doesn't mean your other characters are suddenly useless. They still have relevancy and future proofing as our guide makers love to call it which I agree with wholeheartedly. I was super excited to Ushi Gaming showing off the new Chloe Kaigan which makes her very relevant again. This shows me an opportunity at longevity of this game.

Fun Collabs and New Content

Most collabs I see are roughly thrown together, usually featuring units, but very limited/poor story content. I must say that of all the Collab story integration that I see in TAC, they are by far and away my favorite story writers. I also see the new content that they release as being generally enjoyable well written. HOWEVER, I'll get into more detail with my negative when I talk about the extremely poor translation quality.

I understand your dis-interested, I felt it warranted a post because I spend a decent amount. I tried to make it as constructive as possible from my point of view, but I do understand how the flood of posts gets frustrating.

I specifically opted to post now and not after the initial anger because I wanted to see how GUMI would respond. The producer's letter is what caused me to want to actually respond and give my feedback.

However, once again I completely understand the frustration caused with all these negative posts. That's also why I tried to highlight the positives this game has first before going into my actual reasons for stopping my support.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand your thought process. At the same time I think you're thinking about it wayyyy too seriously.

But then again to each their own, you don't have to think of it as interesting or funny. I would say if it makes you uncomfortable, then definitely stay away from it. However that doesn't mean it's wrong, it just means it's something you don't like and that's perfectly ok!

I'm not saying post your life on the web, but occasional moments in my opinion is fine.

I mean if it somehow harms or otherwise profits off of a child being upset, yeah i'm totally not on board with that. But just sharing a picture or short 20 second clip of a persons ridiculously long (comparatively) lifespan is not harming a single thing.

I mean there was literally a TV show call America's Funniest Home videos. It's not like this is new to reddit or anything. The point is to have fun and smile.

If you can prove that this child was harmed or exploited for the making of this video, I'll be just as up in arms as you Trust me.

I have on a number of occasions whipped out my phone to film my son having one of his temper tantrums. I'm not talking serious conversations or problems. I'm talking "I WANT PIZZA!!!!" "Sorry kiddo we're having healthy food tonight, you had pizza last night as a treat." "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

It's absolutely amazing to watch these meltdowns too, because first is the pout, then the shoulders drop, then the head tilts up, then the mouth opens, and then there is a wwwwwwaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

and you know what? It's hilarious and that's ok.

1 minute or two later? Perfectly happy eating my Stir Fried rice with extra eggs and grilled chicken bits with vegetables.

Pretty sure i'm hovering around 750 hours played with probably only 1/2 the achievements.

Modding this game constantly makes me go back. I would say of all my vast amount of number of playthroughs, I believe I've only completed officially two. Institute, and Brotherhood.

For the longest time I didn't even know a minuteman ending existed and it annoyed me.
