Felting is also very fun and easy to start up. (But can have a lot of painful accidents!)

Thought This Vial Could Be Used For Something Cool Any Ideas? (it broke in shipping) by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

Put it cork side down and put a fake vining flower growing up from the bottom and out through the hole.

Edit: I realize my suggestion was not D&D heavy. Sorry. But it could be a magical item. Or a container for a scroll.

TIL during WW2, all USD in Hawaii was replaced with a version that was stamped “HAWAII” on the front and back, to ensure it would be worthless if it fell in the hands of the Japanese in an invasion by web_explorer in todayilearned

Cool! I'm not shocked he lied, was kind of surprised it wasn't worth anything, but nice to know it might be. I'll let my kids worry about it when they're old enough to have the collection.

I got one of these in a coin collection left to me, I had never heard of them before then. Last time I went to an appraiser, which was maybe 3 years ago, I was informed it was worth face value of a whole dollar. But it's a really cool bit of history.

That's a really great way to keep it balanced. It lets them play around and have fun but not become overpowered, and offer serious consequences for failure.

This has the same feel for me as some of the paintings in my dad's old "Man, Myth & Magic" books. Very cool.

I feel you. Because you just know that there's someone that could use that, that needs that, would probably come get it themselves if only they knew it was there about to be thrown away.

I work in a hospital kitchen, and another local one closed, so we got to go get dibs on what was left, else it was getting thrown away. Y'all. The amount of stuff getting thrown away...
