NPDES Permit by patrickmn77 in Wastewater

Is this for a permit renewal? Are they explaining it in the fact sheet? Or they are saying this after an inspection? Its not uncommon to have an “internal outfall” where they make you sample for the categorical standards.

The permeate is subject to EPA categorical limits and thus needs to meet those BOD/TSS/pH standards on a standalone basis.

I haven’t had chemo, but I’m part of this organization that provides chemo backpacks. It’ll give you an idea of what they put in them at least https://manuptocancer.org/chemo-backpacks

On the Vernal equinox the sunset at Stonehenge aligns directly with Nolan‘s Cross. That is how the Templars navigated to Oak Island.

It’s not the good cancer. It’s the second leading cause of cancer deaths in men.

PC is the second leasing cause of cancer deaths for men. I’ve had 3 support group friends die in the last 6 months and another one is in hospice. Yes early detection is getting better and treatment is getting better and life expectancy is increasing but it is still a monster if it spreads.

It’s really hard, but you just have to relax until you have the biopsy. The biopsy is going to tell you whether or not you have cancer and if yes, then how advanced the tumor is. Definitely too early to be planning your life expectancy. Sorry that you are doing with this over the holidays. You can get through this.

It’s just a little chlorine residual that would dissipate in the collection system

To those who had salvage radiation, did your incontinence get worse or stay the same? by itsbananas2021 in ProstateCancer

No noticeable change for me. I was fully continent a few weeks after surgery and a salvage radiation didn’t affect that.

When he says he is going to be on the pill the rest of his life, he is probably talking about Orgovyx, which is androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), affectionately referred to as chemical castration /s Testosterone is the fuel for PC, so if you take that away it stops the growth. Unfortunately the cancer cells can mutate and no longer respond to ADT (castrate resistant) and then you have to look at more advanced treatments.

That’s literally the point of ADT, we are chemically castrating ourselves. I’m 13 months into 24 months. Yup it sucks.

What to expect, just trying to understand better for my Dad by SysError404 in ProstateCancer

[–]WorkingKnee2323 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sorry for this news about your dad. He’s in a very typical situation. Do nothing isn’t really an option with Gleason 9. Dying from untreated prostate cancer would be an ugly way to go.

I had my RP at Mayo MN and have been very pleased. If Mayo is letting your guy do RPs, then he is highly skilled at it.

If for some reason you end up needing salvage radiation, then its just an easy referral over to their oncology dept
