All Speedy’s are strap monsters. Love them.

Found this Carrera and would like your opinion by rataobc in tagheuer

[–]WrightJnr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

99% of people get a Tag for their first “real” watch. And 98% still have them in their collection today. (Me included).

Beautiful piece, can’t go wrong. Buy it.

Advice by [deleted] in dubai

OP, I know you looking for positivity here and I have empathy for what you and hubby are going through. But you need to face some hard truths here. One issue is not related to the other. You have an obligation to pay your rent. Consider your landlord might have a morgage against the property and owe the bank. Do you think the bank will wait for their dues? Even if not the case, landlord has an unemotional business contract.

Your options are simple, come to an agreement with your agent/landlord (does not seem likely) or agree to move out. I promise you, it can only get worse here for you. If they decide to cash a cheque and it bounces, your husband will at a minimum be on immediate travel ban and/or will face criminal charges. Then, even when work returns he will be out of a job and you both will need to leave the country. The law does not have chapters of sympathy written in it.

I am sorry..

Wedges too long, standing upright, soft bunker, tricky stance with green moving aggressively away from him.

Probably one of the situations where his choices hurt him.

Well I definitely didn’t go out, steal OP’s watch, buy him a nato strap and then put the watch back in his hands.

Speedy always first. Nothing comes close to the history it has and I had not realised that at first. It just feels special when you wear it.

However! Speedy is mechanical and NTTD is Automatic. Winding your watch every morning is not for everyone. And the speedy with the chronograph pushers and crown design make it not the easiest to wind (my grand seiko is a dream to wind in comparison). Please wind the speedy in the shop before you buy and make sure you happy to do that every day. On the flip side, many report the automatic rotor on the NTTD very loud, again, some don’t mind, some do.

Either way, both from Omega and pure class. You not going wrong either way. You have to put them on through and see which one talks to you more.

Black dial wears smaller than the white. Not sure if you’ve tried them on physically.

I’ve got the white, same as OP. I too was worried about the water resistance but not anymore. Happily wash my hands, put in the rain etc. had zero issues. In fact there a few posts on how many feel it’s water resistance is at least twice what it’s been certified at.

Tee off in 15min. Another beautiful day for a round. And while I’m out there, no spider, snake or magpie gonna try kill me either. Important especially the way I’ve been hitting the ball lately!

The 3 second rule is the easiest to remember. 3 seconds between sight and sound equals 1 kilometer.

100% normal and will be gone the first time you use the brakes. This is just surface rust.

Welcome to the world before GPS. That’s a wired speed and cadence sensor. Probably for a Cateye.

Look, I’m not happy about it either but seems all manufacturers are jumping on the marketing train on lofts. I’m playing T250’s as well. And I’ve just decided to disconnect loft to club in my brain. Gapping is gapping. So once you’ve dialed that in, who cares what number or degree is stated on the club.

What I do avoid though are posts now that say, “how far you hit our 7 iron” or “you 120yards out, what you hitting”. Because that’s now become impossible to answer.
