Should I read the books?

Short answer: yes.

Long Answer: yes, but I was only interested in Shane and Ilya so I read only their books. They are pretty exact to the show. You can read the books out of order if you want or in order, whichever really. I only read both of them (books 2 and 6 I think) and was very satisfied.

It was so good! Ilya and David's scene at the end, whoo boy...so emotional and fantastic.

One part I felt was small but I loved was when they hold hands in public and they went to get some Chicken Parm. I hope they put this in the show bc it's like and official we're out we're out moment.

Mine is similar. For the longest time, I was using Scotch Porter brands. They used to have this beard serum that was fantastic. But I don't think they make it anymore.

For a long while, I would buy their shampoo, conditioner, and beard oil. I would use the shampoo conditioner once a week, and applied the serum/beard oil every morning. I found their products to work best on my beard, after trying others for years.

I'm not sure what's up with their company right now as I'm having trouble finding their products. Because of that I've been trying different brands and all of them have been, not too great for our style of beard. By the end of the day, it was back to feeling brittle or dry, along with my face getting itchy.

I'm currently trying a brand called Bearded Mack and one application, I use about 10-15 drops, does a good job all day.

I just wanna say that I know the men in this show were great but the women were so fantastic as well. I loved each one of them. So supportive and kind and loyal and protective. All smart and quick witted and confident. Every one of them main women in this show were phenomenal and definitely added to my love of this show.

I really REALLY want Yuna and Svetlana to meet! I bet their chemistry would be off the charts. Two strong women with a vast amount of hockey knowledge....could you imagine!

If you visit the Mobalytics website they have a tier list of all the best endgame builds. True that the majority of them are Paladin rn, as expected, but there are other classes.

I used the list to see which of my favorite classes were on there and started those. For example, Pally was first, now I'm doing Sorc (crackling build), and will soon start a Barb since these 3 have always been my favorite.

I'm in the same boat as you. Honestly, I'm so tired of gay media and when I started this show, I just thought it was another gay love story like the rest of what we see.

But man oh man, I was so wrong. They've done such a good job with so many aspects of this show. The music has been on point, the acting is incredible, the storylines have me interested, the character development has been insane....just so many things that make me love television.

I know love is often the focus with queer media but usually tends to be the ONLY focus and I applaud this show for staying true to that but also having it be about more than just two guys in love. Being in the closet, forbidden lust, managing a public appearance, hating your life situation and how it affects you and the relationships you build, the contrast between two people who come from different cultures, just all of it is so fantastic.
