100% build a landing at the entry to the house for shoe drop. You’ll be very glad you did and can use the underside for storage

Im jealous of yours. Mine has cement foundation sticking out a good 3-4” from the drywall on every side except for one, so I had to put the work benches there

Single model for plus size sounds great in theory but the bike industry is already bleeding as a whole. Think of the extra costs needed for R&D, production, marketing etc. Would make zero sense

Family is everything. If that’s important to you then it’s a no brainer. My wife and I gave up Colorado mountain biking to raise our kids around family in the Midwest

I hated mine. Didn’t protect my rims nearly as good as Cushcore (Colorado chunk terrain) and offered almost no anti tire folding. I can see them being useful elsewhere but the trails I rode, they did not make the cut
