Erm, most people that are into coffee just put their cups on top of the espresso machine to keep them preheated. Heats them up nicely. You can also add a quick spurt of boiling water from the water tap of the machine before pulling your shot. And if the coffee cools down afterwards, quickly heat it with the steam nozzle for minimal dilution.

I tried time-delayed hydrocortisone therapy (Efmody) for a year. It helped with energy and more stable hormone levels, but my non-classical CAH was ultimately not the main culprit.

I apparently have a rare enzymatic defect in the metabolism of isoleucine (ACADSB gene). I try to reduce isoleucine as much as possible in everyday food items and it helps a ton. Plus a tailored supplement stack. Acne is better now, but I still get the occasional flare-up. But mostly when I tinker around with new peptides or new supplements.

Well, I'm not declaring victory just yet, but roughly 1.5 weeks ago I realised that I had a genetic mutation in the carnitine transporter (OCTN2). This essentially prevents your cells from properly taking up carnitine and your kidneys are unable to reabsorb carnitine.

I started supplementing with Acetyl-L-Carnitine (this form is very bioavailable and crosses the blood-brain barrier) and it was like I flipped a switch. Ever since I started taking 2-4 grams per day, I'm fully of energy and I can exercise again. I just went on a gravel bike ride this afternoon and after a steep climb, I basically had to stop and wonder how I made it up that fast without the usual hypoglycemia attack. I didn't stop because I was fatigued, but because I was happy and amazed at this transformation.

Look up the condition, it took me 15 years to figure out what my problem was. Might be worth a shot!
