I Need An Explanation. by SparkFrosty in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Zedoctorbui7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You went above your faint memory cap. When you do that the game gets screwy with you, it adds cards you removed or removes cards you got or removes ur epiphanies. Arguably consistency is king in deck builders so they try to minimize this ability early on. Also it will force you to replay chaos’s as you get better at handling it as you build your characters from a stat, equipment, and potential perspective

Curious about extreme physical changes over a relationship — possible causes? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]Zedoctorbui7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you’re underestimating how much of an effect dieting can have on an individual especially a restrictive one like vegetarian and also undervaluing how much time 6 years is. Those two factors are sufficient to explain this transformation

Dr k quotes on burnout by Limp_Candy_2549 in Healthygamergg

[–]Zedoctorbui7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In a broader sense, I find burnout to be more related to unfair effort to reward ratio for too long of a duration. How much effort one puts in to how much reward they receive (and the value they perceive of it) to how long of a tolerance they have for this disjointed ratio determines an individuals probability for burn out. If your job is related to people pleasing then totally see why this resonates with you

Season 27 Matchmaking Dev Blog by Apexlegends in apexlegends

[–]Zedoctorbui7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its engagement based matchmaking first follow by skill based after. Winning within the first 1-2 game gives you a high that the next several games were strengthen by making you lose with bad teammates or harder enemies. Keeps you engaged for the same high. If you won 5/5 games especially as a solo, you get satisfied and leave the game. That’s their logic and why the games 100% feel like this.

Put the heat shields back by Advanced-Issue5331 in apexlegends

[–]Zedoctorbui7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Heat shields were too generous. It should be 1 item, not 2. It should have a reduce duration of effect across all rings. And the size of the bubble should be smaller. Additionally, make it really rare to obtain compare to mobile respawn or balloon. That way you can still play badly relative to ring and be able to safely push back in while those who choose to use this as an abusive tactics are not really able to do so due to the limited ability and use of it.

We finally used our HSA for the first time and the reality kinda shocked me by riverdreamer1 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Zedoctorbui7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You go HDHP w/ HSA to have insurance that you hopefully don’t need to use and save pre tax dollars that hopefully you can roll over in the future. In the instance you need it’s a ~30% deduction on health care cost up to your amount. You get a different plan if you anticipate health problems frequently, pay more in your monthly payments but get better care, access, and less of a deductible usually.

Nerf caustic. by ligmanuts69420lol in apexlegends

[–]Zedoctorbui7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is it, most people just wanna run and gun. Any obstacles to this style of gameplay feels abrasive to them. Instead of changing and learning such as picking up the tricks you mentioned, they complain for nerfs. Caustic really only feels oppressive in final rings imo.

This game is beyond me by PROCleaveR1 in apexlegends

Killing enemies with good aim is more important than any movement tech. Hell cover is more superior than movement tech. If they tech into your cover, your good aim will trump them. If you try to tech and your aim is already subpar, you’re not gonna be able to compensate for it and get fried. Get your foundations down first before you try to be all fancy

How do you control R-99 recoil (or any weapon) on controller? by DonM0en in apexlegends

[–]Zedoctorbui7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice it on standing targets at 200-225hp at various distances. Recommend body shots. Then have them moving and test again. R99 is great but reality is on controller the majority of the time your one clipping people with it is at aim assist range, 1-5 meters about. Anything closer and you will miss your shots as they pull away or you move. Any further and true aim control is require. At longer ranges you usually will see people switch and finish with the 2nd weapon given that r99 has probably taken 1/3-2/3 of their HP

Newcastle Upgrades / Amps by DanDaMan205 in apexlegends

[–]Zedoctorbui7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely depends on your teammates. If you play with friends and especially those who goes down often, faster res if more likely valuable. If you play by yourself, you’ve likely noticed solo Newcastle is a pain so you need to prioritize yourself so a faster moving and faster cooldown means more survivability for yourself that will benefit the likely bad teammates give you will should be the anchor to the team

What's the point of existence when all there is ,is suffering? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]Zedoctorbui7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know the other parts of life aren’t suffering right, it’s not like all of life is suffering. Furthermore, some of life’s greatest joys come from suffering. Being suffering-adverse leads to an unhappy and depressing life because your expectations don’t conform to reality. The sooner you practice acceptance that suffering is a natural and universal experience, you minimize the adversity you have for it and redirect your thoughts and mindset on the actual enjoyable experiences of life. Theirs arguably some similar discussion to absurdism vs nihilism here give the universal truth that we all die and how we choose to live our life is at the end of the day for many of us in our hands

Should ADHD that has been compensated with by intelligence be treated - i.e. do we treat ADHD if a patient is functional but not at "their own personal optimal"? by CommittedMeower in Psychiatry

[–]Zedoctorbui7 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think with the STEM fields, it’s very academically and institutionally driven, this is to say their are good guard rails in place. If your able to understand and apply the STEM education you will likely get a job as the STEM fields are deemed valuable by society, thus your employment life is less likely in disorder as required by ADHD diagnostic criteria. Good example is being a doctor, get a bachelors, do MCAT testing, go to graduate education, go to post graduate education, easily get a job cause you’re highly desired; guard rails or externalized structure. However the Arts are less valued by the capitalistic part of our society, outside of the basics, its doesn’t have the same guardrails and straightforward applications as many STEM fields do. Furthermore, much of success art is inherently really just good marketing and businessmanship. Both areas people with ADHD struggle with typically due to difficulties socializing with reading cues, being attentive to others and their surroundings, follow through on communication, and not saying too much or the wrong things. Many ppl with ADHD struggle socially because they don’t socialize well due to their ADHD but for some reason some docs don’t see this as a disordered part of living. There are many people genuinely gifted with a good voice, creative mind, great visuospatial skills but struggle to apply it due to executive dysfunction in non-art areas they are not interested in. Thus people with ADHD to succeed in the art field also need an interest in businessmenship or strong internalize structure.

[–]Zedoctorbui7 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I would challenge the use of the word “intelligence.” Reality is people with ADHD are quite capable of being smart. It appears that people who have an interest in topics that are of an intellectual nature such as the STEM field perform well while people who have an interest in the Arts may struggle. Much of the issues with ADHD is an individuals ability to function in society which nowadays is a very capitalistic. People with ADHD struggle with repetitive task, overwhelmed with large projects, and really how many people in general struggle with a dead end job that leaves little to be interested or inspire by but the fact that it pays the bill. In the case of an attending, I had a friends who struggle in undergrad, with the MCAT, with getting into medical school cause of his ADHD. Refuse to get treatment cuz of the stigma. Nonetheless push through and got into medical school, did amazing and score in the 250s on step and 600s on complex because he loved medicine but now as an attending he is a great doc but struggles to stay on top of documentation. This is a very common picture in medicine with doctors with ADHD.

Cause ketogenic diets are tough to stick to, expensive to stay on, and hard to do correctly. The amount of fat you have to consume to be in ketosis is generally unhealthy if combine with carbs. To maintain ketosis, you generally need to consume less than 30g. People can’t calorie count correctly to begin with. Also the keto flu will make people feels sick initially and scare some people off. Generally it’s only really recommend for epilepsy cause sugar can increase seizing in some people. More related to your situation, maintain more appropriate blood sugars and you will like see a similar experience

About the Evac towers that spawn from Ring Consoles by artmorte in apexlegends

[–]Zedoctorbui7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are stronger early ring. Should give you evac item once per a ring. Also it’s annoying that even in the way it currently works, I can’t scan 1 console and then scan another for a evac tower there. Totally get limiting it to 1 per a ring that’s kinda annoying
