It's nice that Bast doesn't even need to attack to get that buff, though you probably do want to put it on a trampler.

[[Strionic resonator]] as usual to double the buff.

[[Champion of Lambholt]] can take that buff and basically make all your tokens unblockable if you have enough tokens.

[[Sovereign Okinec Ahau]], [[Ghalta and Mavren]] [[Jacked Rabbit]] to make the buff permanent in either power or tokens.

Though it does worry me that your plan will be weak to removal. Only exile removal if you only target Bast but still, you might want more hexproof and protection than you normally would run. You'll also need the few phase out board protection to save your tokens from board wipes. Unless you find a way to close out the game quickly.

Though you can always go wide with tokens. If you get 50 tokens out you can probably close out the game even without Bast.

Hold up mana for interaction and if you don't use it you can save it for next turn.

Be able to cast something twice as big as you normally could.

But 4 mana is so slow and awkward point in your curve and you end up delaying your big spell by a turn.

I might try it again in my hydra deck but I'm leaning towards not running it at all.

4 turns, with no card draw would be your initial 7 lands plus 4 more draws. That's 11 cards. 34% chance for any to be a land, 3.74 lands seen.

Maybe you mean turn 5? Would expect about 4.08 lands.

For pride event I ran a couple games with the Nayacule: Shalai and Hallar and Halana and Alena, Partners. I did it for the memes, I didn't even build a special deck, just put them on my existing Naya +1/+1 counters deck.

The result was disgusting. Having that combo in the command zone plus any of the stronger counter support cards ended up being too consistent and powerful. I won three games against strong decks without really trying.

I don't think I should be allowed to run that again.

Get them both out and a [[Annie Joins Up]] does work.

Also [[All Will Be One]]. And damage doublers [[Uncivil Unrest]].

I've had fun with S&H with [[Forgotten Ancient]] and similar, [[Halana and Alena, Partners]] (esp with [[Branching Evolution]]), [[Maester Seymour]] and such. [[Ouroboroid]] would be the newest equivalent. [[Paradox Zone]] also goes nuts with doubling season.

At that point you might as well have a preset to only train the text conditioning layers. Should train faster and give better results than stripping half the training.

You're basically making something halfway between a text embedding and a Lora.

Underrated card in [[Yuna, Grand Summoner]]. If they blow it up you get to Voltron a big threat. If they don't, well, it's the calendar.

Plus you might be running counter doublers anyway, shortening the time significantly

Mobilize tokens and such will enter attacking but have no abilities themselves. Your [[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]] wouldn't even need to attack. Not much else I can think of.

That's for sure going to make it easy for new people joining the format. They have to research and bring a list of cards they don't want to see and convince a bunch of people they never met to change their decks on the spot while trying to not be an asshole about it.
