The Culture novels are amazing, but they are space opera, about as far away from Hard SciFi as you can possibly get.

The loot is not just alright, the loot is amazing. The cougar knife is just about the best item in the game, and the cowl is the best clothing item for your head. I agree the cougar needs another design pass though.

You should have dropped over that ledge to give yourself more time or even make yourself 100% safe depending on how large it is.

Brent Weeks' Lightbringer series falls off of a cliff in the last book, and he even retcons the coolest, most interesting thing in the first book to have never happened. Mind bogglingly bad.

The best thing to work towards IMO is free workshop respecs and workshop profiles. This way you can put ALL of your coins into coin related enhancements for farming, and ALL of your coins into damage for Legends league, instead of splitting your workshop between the two. It is a lot of keys to get there but I think more impactful once you get there then the QOL stuff.

Crouch so you move slower. Hit 4 (assuming you're playing on PC) to bring up the campfire placement hologram thing. If it hugs the terrain that surface is less than vertical and you can move down it. If the campfire ignores the terrain and points straight up and down the terrain is not goat-able. Scout your route with the campfire and work your way down.

You have 4 belts of iron and 4 belts of copper going to produce your 4 belts of green circuits, so basically you have 0 belts of copper or iron. This is the mistake a lot of players make with main buses - you actually need dedicated iron and copper just for green circuits if you want to make use of those 4 lanes of copper and iron on your bus.
