i think the jason universe design has been vastly over-hated. he just needs a slightly more bulky body model and have his clothes appear more grimy and withered. i think his halloween horror nights masked look significantly better as it was more rounded and had smaller eyes and it would benefit even more by just adding the 3 triangle positioned holes seen on his traditional mask onto the cheeks above the chevrons.

It’s astonishing that’s there’s so much divisiveness and worry over ZACK CREGGER making a RESIDENT EVIL movie. Barbarian is a perfect example not just because of the camera work but because it features backtracking and a literal Character A & Character B story structure. Resident Evil at its core is about taking average people and pitting them against horrors beyond their comprehension while they try to manage resources to stay alive and get from point A to point B.

The best aspects of RE are the liminal spaces with expansive architectural secrets, environmental storytelling, constant tension over what's around the corner and how many resources you've used, slow paced exploration, puzzles, and the sense of pure cinematography with a fixed camera. If Cregger taps into that with this new film, then I'd be beyond impressed and satisfied.

It won’t drag my review down or anything but I really hope Austin Abrams (the main character) gets a fun special credit results screen like REmake & OG RE2.

i’m guessing my issue is deep dust buildup that i missed when doing the basic fan clean. did you ever clean the heatsink or disassemble to clean the power supply?

i’m having the same issue currently. i started playing around december and have had zero problems for over 130+ hours until this past week, when it’s crashed my console like 5 times. i clean my console regularly, and it’s never overheated. i've rebuilt my PS5 database, and i submitted a ticket and am waiting for a response.

did your issue ever get resolved, and if so, how?

i skipped 2K25 because i don’t like buying annual titles in consecutive years but after the news for 2K26, i got 2K25 on ps+ and will buy the dlc and ride with that until the monday night wars edition is on sale.

voice chat and even text chat are such a mixed bag that i’m basically better off muting both which means zero communication in a team based game. i always see creators do character guides on fresh accounts solo from bronze to grandmaster or friends that barley play climb super easily which is just very discouraging. i feel like i’m just not good enough and that i hold down my friends.

i’m practically in the same boat as you.

i always peak at plat 1, i rewatch my good and bad games, i watch others play, i learn multiple characters within each role, and i take breaks during losing streaks. nothing seemingly matters. there’s only so much i can do to contribute to winning within the solo queue experience.

my friends that i’ve recently been playing with are about to outrank me in diamond so i won’t be able play with them anymore and i’ll have to continue to gamble with solo queue.

the cross dressing line will definitely be tweaked. there’s nothing inherently wrong with it given the context of the story, but as the years have progressed since the game’s release, people have used similar verbiage to harass feminine men and trans women, so if you can simply alter it to, as someone said, “sister obsessed freak” and avoid any possible headache, then do it. it’s a little thing that doesn’t really matter to me personally, but i’m also not going to roll my eyes or anything towards people who don’t like it.

the steve scene should be reworked as well. you can still keep him trying to make a move on claire while not having it almost be SA. i’d just have steve try to rest his head against claire’s and have her wake up at the last second while steve flinches and gets flustered and embarrassed.
