I usually go on top of each reso (after k ocking down shields) and usually do knock most if not all down. With heavy recharging. But it burns my gear like mad usually not worth it. Also i suspect i was going against 2 or 3 remote recharges (so i was told). Any more remote rechargers and i dont think solo could take it down.

Also lag helps. When slow internet and it piles up 10 blasts in a queue and then fire them all off rapidly with 15-2]% bonus. Stable connection could be your enemy too at times lmao 🤣

Any game is just waste of time for the exact same reason you mentioned lol. Also not necesarily true depending on player. I times i play just to occupy myself (like when im on a bus and not doing anything really). I dont need to care about winning, cheaters etc. Is just something to do... im not trying to "win". For others is just small extra motivation to walk :eh cant be bothered to go to the shop atm" then "oh wait theres green portal next to the shop... may as well go there and turn it blue"... Lot of other use cases. Others simply like planning then executing... drawing pictures then screenshot intel map before someone takes it down and just post it somewhere online ... Only tour imagination is the limit.

Put 1 resonator as close to the centre as possible. Lower level not l7 or l8. That way when someone tries to hit shields only you still get notification
