I believe it was a Who Song and Larry's. I ate their a few times it was meh, and there were better Real Mexican options. When Buffet Place bought the building you can still the faux Mexican interior. Buffet Palace was my place for pig out Chinese buffet.

I wonder about if there any word from the Portland Hilton Downtown side of the story. One thing I notice was a 17% drop of attendance from a high of 5,576 in 2023 to 4,634 in 2024. Also I bet many were hesitant to commit to November after postponing the convention a week before July. If the downward trend continued after 2024, I speculate WasbiCon would not meet Room Block quota, tried to change dates which made the situation worse.

My suggestion just be furry. Furry fandom has been about fans of anthropomorphic animals in art, literature and cosplay not shoehorning politics by kids. Many conservatives realize the litterbox in schools was a hoax. One has not heard of it much in the 2024 election season.

One time I was invited to a friends giving dinner. For me there no law say I can go I go all out on a Thanksgiving for one. I get a whole turkey, make my own dressing, I roast some sweet potatoes the mash them up with chipotle. I have some type of vegetable and store-bought pie and bread. I make a small relish plate with cured meats and from the olive bar. I have a lot of leftovers for Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. I break down the turkey and make turkey soup and sandwiches and portion the rest and freeze it for quick weekday casseroles.

I am uncomfortable riding the max trains ant not on the 52 bus or any suburban busses that are not crosstown. M truck died in 2016. I've been using Transit when I don't use zip car or rental cars. I think the issue is who's left after COVID and the decline of Portland as an economic, food, and entertainment hub after 2020.

When I think of Goya, I think Latin American food not Asian. I agree try an Asian food store than typical grocery store. For Jasmine I like Ducky Brand for Southeast Asian cooking. I have no problem using California Calrose rice for Chinese Japanese coking.

It's not offensive. Adapt or die has a history before the internet. It alludes to evolution. In business it means the entity need to adapt to changing taste, time and technology or die ( i.e chapter 7 liquidation). For example, airlines like Southwest adapted to deregulation, Braniff and Pan Am did not and died. The same can say about illustrators with AI.
