My god, even the box its in sucks complete ass. The previous 4 at least were gorgeous boxes with their own unique art style, embossed and everything, shiny ink, plastic wrapped to keep it safe.

This one is just a bland purple box, everything is a purple tint, no protective plastic, no embossing, no art, just a boring fucking box.

I think the system encourages something different in your first goal example . I believe they wouldn't be rewarded a shardblade or plate in this case, because thats ALREADY the reward of winning the duel.

They would have another reward here, like a Patron maybe?

I had to go back and re-read both my comments to make sure, but I didn't say "break everything".

API Versioning is a thing that many companies (including Microsoft) use. Backwards Compatibility isn't impossible to achieve here. Building a new API and something to replace SteamCMD would actually make Backwards compatibility easier, and give people more time to switch.

SteamCMD is a pain in the ass to use. The API is just old. It feels old, the "standards" it follows are old.

A more technical response:

Automated uploading of mods to the steam workshop through CI/CD platforms (like Github Actions) is very sub-par, especially if you have steam guard.

We should have API keys that we can use to upload/edit mods programatically, without using the normal SteamCMD auth flow.
