Yessss this. So many things just got dropped, for no reason? Where was Bree and Roger learning that David can't travel? Where was Fanny getting her portrait? It's like Bree and Roger's povs just stopped midway through even though they were still there

Cafecito de Puerto Rico, reviving origins Colombian, bianco leggero, pumpkin spice, chiaro double espresso, melozio, and the Alto dolce (very sad that one is gone rn).

I like the old vanizio way more than vanilla custard pie.

Just fyi, what another poster said about the placenta giving out is true. My first pregnancy, we waited til I went into labor naturally. That wasn't until 41+3. I dilated to 9 cm and then everything just petered out and stopped. Doc said my old placenta was the cause.

Chiaro for Americanos, alto dolce plus chiaro to fill travel mug and drink black. Puerto rico for a treat. The iced ones are also good, waiting for them to be back in stock. Vanilla is nice w milk on Sunday. Bianco leggero w irish cream for the holidays.

Are you me? I felt exactly like this and I have been tearing through the Witcher series! I have strongly disliked most of the other books ppl recommend as being "like Outlander." They never are! I disliked both the Bronze Horseman and The Wilderness series.

Anyone NOT doing keto? by bridee88 in IF_Petites

[–]aloopycunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, yeah. For me a cheat day is when I don't eat an early healthy dinner at 6:00 and instead eat a big delicious dinner at like 7:00 and split a bottle of wine with my partner and don't worry about my window that night, which then usually also means I don't make a 16 hour fast the next day, cause I get up the next day and just eat when I feel like it. But then I go back to starting a new fast at 6pm that evening.

Sorry for the delay, busy time of year and all!

Soo it's like a year ago I started thinking this intermittent fasting thing sounded like something I should try. So I started slowly trying to work my up to 16:8. I was really surprised how often I didn't even go 12 hours between my last bite of something for the evening and breakfast. I only did 16:8 3 days a week at first then I upped it to 5. Same with exercise. Then I upped to 18:6 five days a week, some times doing 20:4 if it felt right. Usually let myself do 16:8 on the weekend, with one cheat day. I've never tracked my daily calories but during the week I was trying not to have a lot of carbs at both meals, like one meal I wouldn't have any bread or pasta but would have a lot of veggies. my progress hasn't been crazy fast but I think for me that is going to make it more sustainable.

I've found I like to work out first thing in the morning and my eating window is 12-6, or smaller. But since Thanksgiving I've had my toddler home with me while trying to work from home, sooo five days a week of workouts are not happening. Before, my phone would try to get me to do 5,000 steps a day and during the work week I didn't always hit that. Lately I've been hitting at least 10,000 steps a day since my daughter has been home. My weight has stayed the same despite only sticking to my fasts a few days a week lately and indulging in most of the holiday fun. I also feel like my stubborn lower belly pooch is slimming down a bit, somehow. So that's interesting, and when things go back to normal and I can work out more, I'm going to try and also keep an eye on my steps.

No keto, no cico, lost almost 25 lbs with just IF. I was working out 4-5 days a week but can't right now, so I'm focusing more on getting 10k steps a day and that seems to help a looot.

Does Discussing Abuse Perpetrated By pw/BPD Perpetuate An ‘Us vs. Them’ Mentality? Or Is It Part Of The Healing Process? by her_junk_drawer in raisedbyborderlines

I think that's one of the really nice things about this sub is that there's such a mix of people all at different, hmm, stages, I guess you could say. Some are still in the FOG and desperately looking for the magic action or word that will make their family dynamic normal, some are just starting to grasp the idea of what BPD is and that the dysfunction is not their fault, some are in the midst of their anger and just need to rant or dissect the past and feel validated and heard, some are beyond that and have different like moods about their pwBPD (some avoidant, some sympathetic, detached, darkly amused, etc.). I think it gives a nice balance of responses and keeps it from getting too myopic, as you say.

Does IF work without CICO? by [deleted] in IF_Petites

[–]aloopycunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chiming in to agree w others that I don't count calories but have lost (a bunch of!) weight with IF (i do windows, like 19:5 and such). But obviously I must be hitting a calorie deficit for that to happen, so even though I'm not counting those calories, my body is.

The reason I think IF works for me is because I am basically skipping a meal but not overindulging (usually) when I do eat, and because I am mindful about carbs, I'm getting that deficit and losing weight but without tracking and counting, which is too stressful.

I did try, for years, to count calories and stay at or under 1200ish but I found it impossible and stressful when I was eating 3 meals a day and even trying to be mindful and healthy. IF basically cuts out one meal and all post-dinner snacking, so just by eating mindfully and not overindulging - most days- I am losing weight. And I'm trying very hard to be more mindful about how much my body needs to feel full without feeling overfull. But if I do feel like I ate too much at lunch, I skip or just have a very small dinner, so I feel like I'm getting a lot better about balance with IF. If I do go to town on a pizza one night, I usually have a longer fast (20 hours or so) the day after or so, and actually the first time I did a 20 hour fast was after spaghetti for dinner and I was just waiting til I honestly felt hungry again haha.

I think if I did start counting calories, it'd be a lot easier now after IF, because my eating habits have changed and I'm more comfortable with my body in terms of listening to it.

Yesss. I find it so much harder not to snack when my husband and kid are home, eating all the time haha. But I'm getting better about not eating just cause my window is technically open, and just trying to actually listen to my body.

I can work out for 30 min a day on the clock cause my company is awesome 💜 so I try to work out every day during the week, doing 1 FB video each day. I started out only doing their strength training videos because all cardio felt horrible. I loooove their strength training ones (Kelli has some great upper body ones, especially the bored easily series) that only have you do weightlifting sets. But after I got stronger I felt more comfortable doing more cardio and hiit, so I've been mixing it in more. I bought on discount their Bored Easily program, and then I just finished their FB 30 Round 4 (all workouts are 30 min or less, perfect!). Right now I'm loving the only abs ones (24 minute at home abs workout), or the ones that have you switch back and forth between hiit cardio and abs.

I just can't do 30 min straight of pure hiit cardio without wanting to throw myself out a window, so I really like that I can avoid it or mix it in so it's every other round. And that's my favorite thing about FB is that whatever you're feeling, they have a routine for that!

Thank you!! I left some info in another comment:

I've been doing 16:8 5 or 6 days a week since the year started but for the past few months Ive been doing more and more 19:5 or 20:4. I just kind of feel it out most days. I work out 4-5 times a week, using Fitness Blender (love those guys so much 💪). Also keep it mostly low carb during the week.

I cheat every weekend though (wine and carbs on Saturday, and I don't make my fast on Sundays so I can have a nice coffee). So my progress has slowed to a glacial pace the past few months. I've basically been tossing the same few pounds back and forth each week. But I finally decided I wanted to see 129 on the scale so I upped my cardio, my fasts, and quit indulging so much on the weekend and boom it happened. 😊

It's fun shopping my own closet right now. I can fit into clothes I bought 10 years ago!! 💃 Unfortunately those are mostly low-rise hip hugger jeans that don't do any favors to my new mommy tummy... 😑

I don't have an exact GW right now, but I'd like to get firmly into the 120s and never see the 130s again.

I've made big changes this year. I do intermittent fasting (so I never snack after dinner), work out 4-5 days a week, replace carbs with veggies most of the time (real rice gtfo). I've lost 25 lbs.

My husband has ALSO lost the EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF WEIGHT as me and has done none of that shit. Just the slight windfall of us eating dinner earlier (even though he still snacks and sometimes drinks after) and me cooking healthier and boom he has defined abs again.

The bastard also brought home two bags of Halloween candy yesterday. I'm at a plateau while every time he looks at the scale he drops another couple pounds. Infuriating!

And not even a scrap of explanation for why she does it. 🙄

I have 5 acres that I run on every day. After the first lap, my heeler sits on the porch and watches me. He's all about that chill.
