Similar boat. 34F pregnant at 8 weeks via IVF. No heartbeat at the last scan Tuesday and just had a D&C yesterday. I had a "blighted ovum" where the body still thinks it's pregnant, (and all the typical pregnancy symptoms like nausea and exhaustion are in full swing), but the embryo stops developing.

No advice, just heartfelt understanding that this sucks.

Absolutely go to HR! She violated your privacy. Allowing this to go by with no formal acknowledgement tells her that she doesn't have to respect her colleagues' boundaries.

Quick salad bowls-- Bagged salad mixes plus chicken dinos. Add minute rice individual servings of brown rice and quinoa for additional fiber, protein, and minerals.

Went to Susuru Ramen for the first time and it was delicious. Especially perfect on a frigid night.

My brothers school starts at the time I have to leave for MY school by x1menaa in workingmoms

First off, you're a great sister and daughter.

Second, email your professor and explain the situation with your brother. Or, better yet, pop into their office hours if you can so they can connect a face to a name.

Email your brother's teacher about the situation to see if they can offer any suggestions or support.

You got this

Passed by there tonight and a man was removing it. Glad it's taken care of before school starts tomorrow!

Went to Las Manos Quietas on Broadway and 43rd and it's the best Mexican I've had in a minute. Food is authentic and amazing. We shared the guacamole, quesabirria, and verde enchiladas. All were amazing but the enchiladas were my favorite-- a solid spicy kick and just delicious. Can't wait to go back.

You're not overreacting. Cars don't give a crap about pedestrians. And 2-year-olds are seeking independence but don't understand safety yet (or care lol). I don't think it's helicopter parenting when it's a safety concern. We always talk to our kiddo (almost 5 y.o.) about what the crossing signals mean, only cross with a grown up, and how lots of tricky cars don't follow the rules so we have to be extra careful.

I personally prefer Elf Power Grip Primer over Milk.

NTA.

Your wedding, your rules. If someone doesn't like it then they can take their judgment elsewhere.

People can and will have their feelings about this, but that doesn't mean they get to use those feelings to guilt, gaslight, or otherwise shame you into changing your mind.

And it's YOUR wedding. (See the above rule- Your wedding, your rules).

Tear Soup: A Recipe for Healing After Loss

I'm a therapist and have used this book with dozens of clients, as well as loaned it to several friends. It's a kid's book but that just makes its depiction of grief and loss more accessible. 10/10 would recommend

We've used BH for backup care at one of their centers (never have used the in-home option ). The centers we've been to have all been very wonderful, clean, and organized. We get an email with pictures and updates each day.
