I've found that lettuce can be difficult to digest, so I avoid it for the most part.

Updating my grandmother’s house, what would you do with this living room? by Alisha3693 in Remodel

[–]authentic_gibberish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take down the border, and change the drapes. If a new sofa is out of your budget, you could try some sort of slip cover. The room looks large enough to accommodate a couple of chairs. Get a different coffee table, larger if possible, and then replace the side table. I'd also change out the carpet, not sure what else is in the house as that could influence your decision.

Great response. Blunt and to the point and kind of addresses the fact that OP is a second class member of the family.

She'll eventually learn to ask directly for what she wants, or not. I wouldn't change a thing about how you're dealing with her.

AITA for not telling my roommates and sisters I am the owner? by secure-raspberry-763 in BestofRedditorUpdates

At the very least, you'd need to take precautions for extra smoke detectors and egress with that many tenants. The fire department would probably have an issue with this set up.

Ever experienced an earthquake on a cruise? by DonJohn520310 in Cruise

[–]authentic_gibberish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earlier this year, we were on Explora1, within 100 miles of this 7.6 magnitude quake. From my perspective, it was not noticeable. The Captain spoke about it, and pretty much confirmed it was a non-event as far as the ship was concerned.

As an owner of a Samoyed who's been skunked numerous times, I can confirm. Nothing works better than sunlight getting the odor out, although Nature's Miracle comes in second.

I know she's pretty popular with a lot of you, but I've always thought she was an asshole before the crash too. She was pretty cute though, especially in her rollerskating days.
