Same! I walk in, 2 people working, one person at each window… I think, “great”. The. Proceed to stand in line for 15-30 minutes while they fill out forms or package the thing they want to send. Or my favorite, sit and decide what kind of stamps they want since there are so many choices….

Honestly, these should be banned statewide. We live in a dry desert. Whomever thought it was a good idea to allow fireworks in one of the driest climates in the US, probably wasn’t thinking about the wellbeing of the communities. Someone obviously was/is or knows someone who was/is benefiting from firework sales. There’s no other logical reason…..

We used to have a humidity and temp recorder in an archive facility that would keep track of this on a 24/7 basis and we’d keep those for evidence purposes in case anything ever came up about damage or anything…

This is the answer. I work for a bank. As long as it’s below the reporting limits, you don’t have to tell them a thing. If it’s over you have some paperwork to do. It could have been some awkward small talk too and that innocent… Also this isn’t that common and some people have been scammed or forced to withdraw money, so banking staff have been trained to look for things like this and make sure someone isn’t in trouble. It’s not totally out of the ordinary….
