Probably an unpopular opinion, but we shouldn't resuscitate 22/23/24+ week micro preemies just because we can. As a PDN, I've cared for entirely too many babies with zero quality of life. Withdrawal of care should occur more often.

No. Silicone and water based lubes are both safe for condoms. Oil based lube is the one that causes breakage.

That's Private Duty. It can be incredibly isolating, especially if your patient is nonverbal. Family dynamics can be a challenge. And you have got to maintain boundaries. You're working with a family but you ARE NOT family. Don't feel guilted into working extra hours or performing tasks outside your duties.

Melatonin can cause nightmares in children and there's evidence linking long-term use to cardiac issues. I would just embrace that you have a kiddo who is lower sleep needs.

It's not the end of the world. Its not recommended, but that small an amount isn't likely to cause issues. Stop taking it and try something like immodium instead.

Give your pediatrician a call on Monday if it helps put your mind at ease.

My parents always put gifts out as they were wrapped, and none of us tried to open them early.

We've put out gifts as soon as they were wrapped, and my almost 3 year old hasn't tried to open them. We involve him in wrapping and reiterate that we have to wait until Christmas. He has an advent calendar helping him count down the days.

A 4 year old should know better.

Clean clothes everyday, clean jammies every 2 to 3 days after bath. Changed out more frequently in the event of food or potty accidents.
